Changing customers debit card number when many people have automatic deductions on bills is terrible customer service. Just opened a account last year. It was a nightmare to get all of our automated deductions switched from old bank to new account number. My old bank never changed our card numbers for that reason. The only reason we switched is because Oakstar is local to our area. Access to closer ATM’s Customers have no say on this situation and the higher up at the bank don’t care. They will still get those bonuses for providing terrible banking decisions like this. There is absolutely no good reason to change customers card numbers unless the information has been compromised. I am seriously wondering if this is a possibility of why this is getting forced down our throats.

Awful experience. I suggest a banking app that does early direct deposit or Arvest, at least their not passive aggressive about ripping you off from your own money. (I did try to talk to someone three different times, once with customer service, to get my issue fixed but no one seemed to really care until after I posted this review.)My story,While my second direct deposit was in limbo within your accounts, I had a payment hit two days earlier then I originally had thought would. After the next day I noticed a $60 overdraft charge so I immediately call customer service to see if they had my deposit first. The agent confirmed that it was there by informing me the total amount before my actual work did. I asked them if they could wave the fee since they have my money & it's not my first deposit from my work. The agent reached out to the bank and informed me that they would give me a call about the decision. The next day after my deposit hits, I close the account because no one reached out to me about the issue & no refund in my account. While I was there closing the account, no one asked me why I was leaving or what the issue was. But the lady definitely felt the need to announce my history outloud to make sure everything is taken care of before closing the account. This made me feel uncomfortable! I called back that night to clarify things but the excuse I was given was " we don't know if the work place will take their money back".. my employer is a large corporation..

This bank has the most awesome coffee machine I have ever seen. It has a touchscreen and 3 different Starbucks flavors to choose from. It grinds the beans and brews your cup fresh! That alone is worth doing business here but if you need another reason it's Rochelle, the branch manager. She took care of my financial needs quickly and explained things I didn't understand. All of the staff are helpful and friendly.

This is truly the bank that sets the bar for customer service. My husband doesn't get off work until 5pm on Friday, at which time he also receives his paycheck. Every week he does a mad dash to cash his check at oak star before they close at 5:30pm. One particular Friday the traffic was heavy and moving slow, so we didn't get to the bank until 5:35pm. A beautiful woman by the name of Amber Moore stood behind the glass and instead of refusing to help us, she instead asked us to give her just a minute to get her computer system back online and she then cashed the check. Without hesitation, she took extra time from her going home to take care of us, and she is truly the best example of a teller who cares about her customers and her career. So thank you Amber Moore for being an amazing, selfless person because that gesture of kindness made the entire difference in our family's whole weekend

Outstanding customers service from even before we were customers..EVERY interaction is customer based, personal and professional and we have challenged them with numerous unique transactions and 100% satisfied. If you are even thinking of changing banks, looking for a new bank don't hesitate to bank at Oakstar. Savannah, Abbie, and Amber are amazing.
