I've used JoMo movers twice. The first time went very well. The second time was not so great. Movers were friendly and helpful in many ways; however, they crammed my furniture in the truck and did not protect some of it. I had two pieces of expensive furniture damaged: upholstery on one and a deep cut into woodwork on another. I turned in my complaint to the company after getting confirmation on the cost from the furniture stores I bought the furniture from. I received a check for about $50 with a letter that said that accidents happen. I felt the damage caused by their movers was being blown off. To me, this is not the way to do business if you want a good reputation. Two stars.

I moved from Joplin to the Kansas City area. The movers were professional, considerate, hard-working, listened well and communicated what was going on throughout the move. They were great! And nothing was broken! I definitely recommend JoMo Moving.

We did not have the 5 star experience with this moving company that, apparently, so many others have had. They came out and gave a reasonable estimate and were available to do our move on the days we needed. They came highly recommended to us so we went with them. To make a long story short the packing of our belongings left a lot to be desired. Kitchen and breakable items were packed ok, but we had boxes full of items that looked like they had just been dumped into the moving boxes, dry cleaning was crammed in boxes and not hung in wardrobe boxes, pictures were transported back of frame hardware to front of frame causing gouges and scratches to numerous pictures, an employee used and clogged a toilet causing an overflow situation, paperwork was not in order resulting in delays unloading our belongings and some of our furniture was not put back together properly. There are too many things to list that went wrong with this move. Stick with national moving companies that have a detailed process of documenting, packing, transporting and assembling your items. I know that I will and I can not in anyway recommend this moving company.

Whoever the driver was hauling trailer 654 on 07/07/2020 afternoon going US-69 north in Oklahoma, this driver didn't activate turn signal when changing lanes, dispatchers should look up who this driver was based on the information I provided above and give this driver a warning.
