“This was my first trip to Joplin, MO for work. Although I wasn't very impressed with the area or location of this hotel, the staff made my trip beyond exceptional. From the moment I arrived I met Kim at the front desk. She gave me a great welcome and even went out of her way to try to assist me with a laptop charger since I forgot mine back in NC. Ethan, the manager, took time from his day (everyday through the week) to greet me personally and even tried to offer setting my company up with great rates for continued business. Even made a new friend with Celeste who seems to have a genuine personality and also took time from her day to have some conversations with me. I met a variety of other people I enjoyed speaking with but didn't have the chance to find out their names but the hotel was very clean, great customer service and will be back when I am in the area. Again the only negative thing I can say is the location but I can't say I saw many great locations in this area. Regardless this is a great group of people and looking forward to seeing them again.”

“This location is MASSIVE!!! It's seriously the biggest La Quinta we've ever stayed at. Very nice inside, laminate flooring, comfy beds, clean, not the biggest rooms we've had at a la quinta but definitely sufficient. Our room was at the very very back of the building so walking to get coffee was a task it's like an entire city block long to the dining area but well worth it as breakfast was AMAZING!! Scrambled eggs with bell peppers, onion, & sausage, and I topped it with their fresh pico de gallo, fried potatoes, sausage links, and flour tortillas to roll it up and make breakfast burritos, fresh fruit salad consisting of melon, grapes, pineapple. They had other items as well, including biscuits and gravy, & cold cereal etc.,We LOVED IT! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!**If you find my review helpful to you, please give it a ? thank you!”

“Everything about this place was great. I was in town for a bowling tournament and everyone wanted to stay here based on previous experience. This was my first time and I was more than impressed. Very clean and organized. No complaints at all.”

“A perfect little get away for 2 if you are visiting Joplin, Missouri. We booked online, the office is open 8-4pm each day and the staff was attentive, responsive, and kind. They text the door code and check in info so you can arrive and depart freely. Our Chalet was Country & Western themed, clean, and plenty of towels, full bath, extra linens, optional trundle bed, and a kitchenette for coffee & a full sized refrigerator/freezer and microwave. The sitting area is nicely furnished and a Roku flat screen tv for entertainment, the bedroom had a king size bed, nice decor and an additional Roku tv. It's about 8 miles to downtown Joplin or 10 miles from the interstate. Plenty of things to do in the area. Private paved parking per chalet, close to the well lit sidewalk to each. This is near the road but quiet, and the price was the same as a chain basic hotel with little privacy. We really liked it, plus supporting a local small business. No RV or semi parking. The chalets appear to all be walk in ground level, so handicap should be fine. The road noise was minimal, and the room was very clean.”

“Good sized affordable rooms with the shower being surprisingly spacious. Bed is wonderfully comfy, especially compared to the slabs of barely padded plywood in 18-wheelers.Staff is quite friendly and helpful, assisting with minor issues in a timely manner. The location is great, being right next to the Joplin 44 Petro and they even have 20% off coupons for the Iron Skillet. All in all, I highly recommend staying there to all drivers who need to get out of their truck for a day or two.I'll certainly be coming back.”

“My family and I had to stop here unplanned due to a car issue while traveling. We honestly just picked the closest Hilton. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms were very clean and decorated very nicely. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were soft. Breakfast options were great also.”

“The staff were amazing! Every single of them! Not a single problem with the room! Everything worked great and I had a very pleasant stay! Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!Rooms: Room 107Everything worked great! Hot water and pressure were great! TV with tons of channels and microwave and fridge worked just fine. Not even a problem but the fan in the bathroom was super loud for some reason. Pretty small deal to even complain about so I won't.Safety: Few sketchy people across the street at Econo lodge but I had no concerns or worries about my safety or my vehicle safety.Walkability: Waffle house, Dennys and gas station all within 2 minute walk.Food & drinks: Continental breakfast was too notch! Biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, cereal you name it!”

“The beds are not bad if you like sleeping on a board. They had nothing when we went bkfst at 7:20. Finally around 8 she brought some things. Only one person doing front desk and bkfst. Charged out card twice. Room key would not work. The worst. Not happy. Mold on edge of bathtub.”
