I was in the store for 10 minutes, about to check out, when an employee I think named John, told me to get out of the store.So, would not recommend anyone with a service animal shop here. People like John will very rudely and aggressively ask to see your proof that you have a service dog, and when you say "Sure; it's in my car." he will snap, "You're obviously lying, and you need to get out now." I was shocked but said "okay...", and he continued, "Its illegal to have a dog in here and I will call the police, you don't even look disabled -" and he continued what I couldn't hear as I left my items got out as quickly as possible with my two young children so they wouldn't hear anymore threats of me being arrested for grabbing bread and pasta on my way home.Maybe check out the ADA.gov website:'The ADA does not require people with disabilities to provide businesses with documentation for their animal. Staff may ask two questions: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability, and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform. Staff cannot ask about the person's disability, require medical documentation, require a special identification card or training documentation for the dog, or ask that the dog demonstrate its ability to perform the work or task.The person with a disability could file a complaint with the Department of Justice, Civil Rights Section. Also, each state has an agency which investigates complaints of discrimination. Also, some state laws may have criminal penalties which may include fines and imprisonment. Punitive damages and penalties may be imposed if the businesses are not compliant. It's wise to use common courtesy. It's good for business.'I would say ignorant and hostile employees like above a very bad for business.

Anytime I'm in another town and there's a Harps grocery store I no what I'm getting. This store is setup like all the other stores around. I like how easy it is to find what your looking for. They usally have a great selection of meats and deli meats as well. If your hungry for lunch you definitely need to stop in here for there chicken strips n mashed potatoes with white gravy plus there rolls. Delicious!!! The workers here are always nice and friendly. Makes shopping here a pleasure indeed

Very nice and clean place with no employees that said can I help you or HI. They have a very good bakery and meat department. The casher not friendly at all drops the angle hair pasta. in the bag and breaks a lot of them. If you are going to spend a little more on the food you buy niceness will go a long way.
