I had an issue with my Spartan chassis not leveling properly. Set up an appointment with Jackie to get this issue addressed and my coach serviced. I stayed in the coach several nights using the onsite RV hookups while the work was performed.Jason kept me updated and informed on the progress of the repairs and service. I found the the fees to be reasonably priced and I'm very happy with the professional service that I received. I would recommend Cummins Joplin to anyone needing RV service and repairs.

We had a motor home engine failure while passing through Joplin. There were a lot of moving pieces and I don't want to get into too many details, but I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. My main POC was Jackie and she kept me updated through the good and bad news. I never met or spoke with her techs, but they did the work and it turned out great. Thanks Jackie, you made our day.

They did not fill all of our reservoirs in our country coach, which then left us stranded on the side of the road. We took this trip right after they supposedly did a full service on our engine. We called them to try and get resolved and they continually blew us off and did not return our calls. Do not take your RV there!

My wife and I purchased a Class A Diesel pusher that has a Cummins 300hp engine. We of course wanted the most reliable technicians so we brought it to this Cummins certified service shop. We were told they did a complete service on it and that everything checked out in good condition with all new fluids. We then hit the road to spend the winter in Florida. On our second day driving we lost most of our horsepower and could only reach about 45 mph. Come to find out, part of the exhaust was missing a tension band that held a rubber coupler on. This apparently was not noticed by Cummins when they serviced it one week prior as they had not said anything to me. Ok…. Maybe a fluke. No big deal.On our third day the engine overheated. After $1600 in mobile mechanics and transmission fluid, we learned that there was a transmission hose leak that the mechanic said had been there for quite some time due to the aging of the frayed hose (Cummins techs missed this?). We also learned that there is a auxiliary reservoir in the engine bay that holds transmission fluid. This reservoir was completely dry. This reservoir runs things like the fan clutch (which cools the water temp) , power steering, and other there important functions for operating safely. Cummins clearly did not check OR service this reservoir. Once fixed, we continued on to Florida and haven’t had an issue since. So after spending $1400 on the original service job with Cummins, and then even more than that troubleshooting and repairing something that could have been caught during the service with Cummins, I was shocked. I assumed Cummins would treat us right once I explained what happened. I called them and spoke with Jason in the service department, he said he would get back to me after looking into it. After two weeks I never heard anything and called him back. Jose and Jason were both notified of this and said that there was nothing they could do. I explained it to them in greater detail and they said they must not have gotten the entire story the first time and they would look into it again. Three months have gone by and I never heard anything from them. This was completely unexpected and unprofessional service from a big name company like Cummins. I highly do NOT recommend this business. Jason and Jose are poor managers and should be replaced with someone that truly has customer service experience in a high degree. That’s my$0.02.
