Trucking was a nice career change for me even for a short time, love the traveling aspect about it. I worked here for a few months, in my opinion its a terrible company, finisher trainers are horrid/dreadful, safety team is useless & no good. For anyone thinking about getting into trucking AVOID this place at all cost trust me, I wish I would of went somewhere else. Also if you leave here be prepared not to receive any of your stuff back that is left in the truck even if you offer to pay to retrieve your items.

They waste your time, pay little and risk being assaulted if they bring you by greyhound bus. Pays $0.49 per mile or less

Good company to start with, but after your raises, your miles drop. If your not a trainer it's nearly impossible to make money.

The sign read "push for assistance". How about it security, with the gate already open, don't you think the driver hit the button for a reason?

I'm not going to bad mouth CFI. All I'm going to say is that the company wasn't a good fit for me.

No guaranteed home time, charging drivers to deadhead home after putting in a 2 wk notice to get there, took away trainer incentives, took away 12 hr detention pay for teams & made it 24 hrs like solo drivers, poor communication, have to fight for any kind of layover after resetting twice in a wk often times.. it's not what it used to be. The drivers & perks are what made this company great, but the best people have left. It's a real shame things have gotten to this state. Heartland & the last CFI director has run this company into the dirt.
