It was good when Dr. Bozarth was there.He was knowledgeable & caring to my foster pets. Unfortunately, there is another vet there & I’m not impressed.Not only that … but now they close on Wednesdays & weekends.

This clinic is trying to kill my dog with gross incompetence?!She has kidney disease and you guys keep jerking me around with getting the prescription I need to order her special food!I am now forced to pay for a COMPETENT vet to get her reevaluated and get the prescription I need.My dog has been a member (paid up) in their wellness plan since she was a pup, but I guess since she's getting older, they are out to kill her.Tried reaching out to customer service, but they don't have one!Seriously, don't get a Wellness plan from Banfield Pet Hospital! They have gone to !

They did well with my dog. He usually needs to have a soft mussel, but he does not with the staff. They really care about both the animal and the owners

Actually very sad I have to make this post.We have been going to this location for years now, even suggesting it to many people who have also started going and paying for the wellness plan.Recently however, the location is hardly open or just not open at all. The hours are not updated at all. They say they are open 2 days a week, but I can never seem to get a hold of anyone here.I still get all the text messages and emails in regards to getting my pet in for his shots, can't ever schedule it though because the location isn't opened.I'm STILL paying for the wellness plan and I can't even use the service I'm paying for. Called customer service in regards to this & their answer was to get in touch with the location ( so funny). So here I am, paying over 100 bucks a month & I can't even use the service I'm paying for.Sadly after many years of coming here and recommending people to come here as well, they only care about the money. We will be looking for another vet.When we use to go here, the staff was always very friendly & welcoming. My dogs actually enjoy going here. Dr.Dawson has been amazing to them!

As of February 2023 I wouldn't recommend because the previous 5 months they were barely open and are now closed. The actual staff when open has always been friendly and helpful.I had their Optimum Wellness Plan for several years for 2 dogs which was so-so. There are issues like if your pet is too old to safely do teeth cleaning they charge for NOT being able to do it, and the only way to avoid it is to downgrade your plan and then other things aren't covered.General care was always excellent but anything special like diagnosing liver disease wasn't something they were knowledgeable about or could test for (but other vets in the Joplin area I've used were just as bad).Due to post-Covid vet/staff shortage it started to take weeks and multiple phone calls to get prescriptions refilled and as of 2/2/2023 they are completely closed. Despite being closed and literally no services available, there was still nearly a $400 cost to cancel the Wellness Plan early.

Normally I’m very pleased with there service, but for some reason they state there open but I call and they say there closes and only open 3 days a week how am I supposed to bring my animals in for a check up that I pay for every month.

Do not recommend. The vet we saw 6-21-22 was very nice. However, Banfield denied a prescription request 10-21-22 from Chewy for routine heartworm and flea/tick medicine because that doctor retired and another doctor will not sign the prescription. They advised me to schedule another $228 physical, though my dog doesn't need to be seen for any health issues. They also wouldn't allow me to order these prescriptions from them (Banfield) stating they could only provide over the counter topical options. We absolutely will NOT return.

Took my dogs there for two shots each and a parasite test. Gave my dogs extra shots which I had evidence they did not need. Overcharged what was quoted and was also double charged. Never again. Still fighting the double charge as they said they could not fix it and to call my bank. Tried to speak with the manager, but she was not in. Not to mention they did a "comprehensive exam" and did not even mention my dogs swollen & bleeding toe.*Update: Still have not received a callback from the manager. Will never go again.

Absolutely terrible place. The front service desk is devoid of any empathy or emotion, and even when seeing an animal was clearly coming from a trauma clinic, they did not care about the animal, only money, and wouldn't even see the animal because information was not "faxed" even thought the trauma clinic said it was.I'm disgusted. An animal in my life for years is now dead because of this place. Go somewhere else. Save yourself the trouble and heart ache.

In the hours they say they are still opened for July 2, 2022 but called me Thursday and said they didn't have a Vet to see my puppy...So this ad for their hours is false advertising...Must be nice to pick and choose your patience...Not a caring Vet..You shouldn't have your hours saying you are available on Saturdays til 6pm.. You the one who said you be available to see my pet at 5pm.. Please pay at attention to the 1 stars cause there's some crookedness if there's that many..I guess I should have paid more attention to it

Everybody was exceptionally nice took care of my little man. I just didn't know I was going to have to drop him off for 4 or 5 hours. We haven't been apart that long in 10 years. We both were stressed. Other than more complete communication on leaving my animal, I would recommend, good people.
