I thinn banking in general is a bad experience for most people but the team at this Arvest Bank goes above and beyond to make your experience as miserable as possible. Expect to take over an hour to complete basic banking task like a cash withdrawal or getting a cashiers check. They even will happily remind you that their time is more valuable than yours because their bankers and that you should be happy they’re willing to eventually complete the elementary level task.

I went in here to try and get my account situated and I was told they weren't able to help me. I barely ever use this account! I looked at my quick view and noticed I was -35.63 upon logging in and checking it was one of my payments that came out, so it wasn't a fraudulent charge. I went to the ATM and added $206.00 when I checked my checking account after that, I had only 156.52 in there! They pulled out a "Memo Created By NSF Support" NO WHERE DID IT SAY I was negative $52.63 ($17.00) being the fee they pulled out. They wouldn't credit it back into my account upon asking either! I used to always come here, not anymore.

Arvest bank is always coming up with fees no other bank has. It's why we stopped having our account there! Today, I waited 25 mins to be told they would not cash a check (Arvest Account) our friends wrote us for some bee hives. They asked us to take to their bank to cash it. Arvest would only cash it if I paid a 5.00 dollar convenience fee, because I didn't have an accout there. I didn't get wealthy paying bogus fee's. By the way their wealth management perks stink compared to other bank in our area. And they have tons of bogus fee's that other banks don't. And they pay horrible interest on your account compared to some in our town. Shop around, Arvest pads their pockets...not yours!

So grateful for this bank. I have banked at another bank for 20+ years and was declined for a refinance. Funny how that works! Mike Brown at Arvest Bank was extremely helpful and was more than willing to refinance my loan with kindness and in one day!! I’m looking forward to changing all my accounts over to Arvest Bank! Thank you!!

I teach school in Joplin. I was needing to open and account and get something notarized. I went there on my break at 9:30 and doors are locked. I tried calling on Wednesday and Thursday and never did get to speak with an actual person. Is there anyone that works at the 7th and Main branch that can open me an account real fast it literally takes 10 min at most and get something notarized and I can be there by 9:15 a.m. today.

Cant stand this arvest , I would choose any other Arvest to go to before this one. Everytime i go it's about a 20 to 30 minute wait. I have even had bank tellers roll their eyes at me . I will always go to the one on rangeline, they know how to do their jobs quickly without attitudes.

This is the slowest bank ever. I have been here numerous times and a good majority of them have been me sitting in my vehicle upwards of an hour just for a simple deposit. If you want to be done in less than 10 minutes I would suggest using the ATM

I want to say just how grateful and appreciative I am of this building and the staff inside. They were the only ones who welcomed me out of the cold. Gave me a snack and told me I could sit for a few so I could find a ride home. And that's honestly the kindest people have been to me in quite a while.
