“When I was a teenager, my grandpa gave me a knitting table he had built for my grandma. He would have been 26 at the time that he made it by hand, so I’m even more impressed. Over time and multiple moves, it had fallen apart and was in a box in pieces. My husband had tried to fix it over the years with clamps and wood glue and advice from people who knew things about wood construction that he didn’t, but nothing has ever worked. With help from Dewey Sheets@Furniture Rescue, he completely restored it and kept all of the original pieces. It’s absolutely gorgeous!”

“Stopped by today. Beautiful selection of real antique items. Picked up a lamp to add to my growing collection. The owner was a great guy. Many of his items come with historical tidbits. Possibly, the nicest antique store I have ever been too. My gal pal picked up a few items as well. The place is practically a museum with most items older than the 1930’s. If you are a lamp collector, this is the place.”

“This is my favorite antique store in Joplin. Great atmosphere, they play 60s music (my favorite) and have a huge selection of really unique finds. I usually find something I have to add to my collection. The layout is big, but not overwhelming to browse. Highly recommend!”
“Worth every bit of 5 stars. As of November 2023, there's a cute little guard dog behind the counter that you MUST see. Great selection of items. Densely packed in the small-ish amount of space that it has. Prices are also fair. Most are below eBay comparisons.”
