We have shopped here for quite some time. We’ve always enjoyed when our favorite employee, Angie works. My Son is 2 1/2 and doesn’t like anyone yet he adores Angie and lights up when she comes to talk to him. She has always been super helpful helping us find things etc.
Reading some of these reviews, Angie has obviously been targeted and Aldi could be ashamed for feeding into them. The short hair female Cashier’. Gee. She must be the only short hair female cashier. ?.
We will be taking our business to Harps now. As Aldi won’t be worth shopping at without our favorite worker. DISAPPOINTING ?????

I shop at this store regularly and have since it opened, however I will no longer be shopping here after hearing you fired my (and many others) favorite and most friendly employee all because a few customers complained about her talking to them. How awful. Angie was the best part about that Aldi and you fired her. I’ve had instances at that store with rude employees but it was NEVER Angie. She made me feel and many others feel welcomed in that store.
This aldi is no longer worth shopping at.
Will be taking my business elsewhere, I hope others do too.

We have been shopping at this aldis since they opened it but not any more! You got rid of your best employee the one that was so personable and professional she kept customers coming back! You are running off a lot of customers by doing what you did and I’ll make sure to get enough people to write corporate! We can shop at other stores and give them our money! I wish Angie the best and hope she grows and prospers to new heights she deserves it.

Angie was the only employee that had a smile on her face and greeted every customer. Every time I visit my step mom and we stop here she remembers and greets me with class and dignity. Angela’s customers are not just that. They are like family to her! I won’t be back until Angela is!

Disappointed and heartbroken to have been in my favorite store, only to witness my favorite employee being walked out over google reviews. Shame on you Aldi for letting go one of the most caring, compassionate and loving employees you will find these days. I know wholeheartedly the unkind words cannot be true as I have never seen Angie disrespect a soul. You will find a large customer base who will find elsewhere to shop based on this complete disregard for someone so selfless and kind.

Noticing some negative comments about staff at Aldi store #35 on Mclelland. I can say that Angie is one of the kindest cashier's and goes out of her way too help people. I've not ever had any negative issues with her nor has any of our family members or friends. We go in more than once a week. Last winter I watched as a young boy really wanted a giant stuffed bear. Angie went to the shelf after asking the mom if it would be ok and purchased the bear for the child. I have witnessed many times her helping the elderly and disabled patrons of this store. My kids loving going in there and she is always so kind. I have had issues with 2 other staff members being rude at the register and on the floor at this store but never her. I am saddend to learn she was let go from Aldi based upon google reviews. I have seen her being treated terribly by customers over the last two years and not once did she act unprofessional even tough they were being out of line with her. I wanted to make sure to put on Google what I know to be true of this individual who was unjustly let go. I am disappointed in Aldi and those who have caused this. It is also sad that a store like Aldi Corperation uses google reviews to judge an employee they have ever even met in person. To all of the humans out there who write reviews remember this could be you or your family member or someone you know. Everyone needs their job so be sure when you write reviews the are accurate and honest. Shame on Aldi for believing these negative things about a great cashier.

We love coming to the McClelland Aldi! Angie is always so sweet to my kiddos, she loves to give them high fives and knuckles. She is always so personable and talks to all the customers like she knows them. There was an employee being rude to me one time and Angie stepped right up and said “we won’t be having that!” And grabbed the manager immediately.
I don’t know if the bad reviews judged Angie on her appearance or life choices, but that would be considered discrimination at best. Maybe consider that we live in the Bible Belt and Angie may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but she is certainly ours!!!

I used to love shopping here for the products and the pricing. But I loved seeing Angie while I was there, she always made my day and asked about my family who know her as well.
I've read the negative comments about her and as they are somewhat worded the same I believe they may have been a coordinated effort by religious bigots against her due to her orientation.
This is Joplin, after all.
I never saw anything like they described and I hope they're ashamed of themselves for costing this lady her job.

I’ve shopped at this specific ALDI because I’ve always had great customer service. Angie was always kind to everyone. I would always see her going out of her way to help anyone who asked as with the other employees there. She managed a store I frequented prior to her being employed at ALDI and was exceptionally helpful there to anyone as well. It’s disheartening to learn that she was let go from over the reviews on here. I can attest those were personal, and made up. I will not shop here any longer. I’m appalled at your company. It needs further investigated.

I have been shopping at this Aldi’s since it opened & one of the main reasons is the great customer service from Angie. She loves everyone, customers, children, pets and elders. She does uphold the rules and even had to inform me our small dog could no longer sit in the cart. They are welcome in the store, but not in a cart. Upholding rules is their job. I’ve never heard of employees giving out free bananas & it’s sad the customer left a bad review because she explained policy. Is it okay for us to eat a banana or maybe an apple while we shop?
Aldi’s shame on you! You might want to investigate the reviews and check cameras to see if those leaving reviews were actually there! I’m there almost daily and what brings customers back is friendly employees! I hope your employees will step up their customer service skills because this store is lacking in them!

As a frequent customer there I'm ashamed that Aldis would attack their best employee(Angie). Ive never once had a problem with her, in fact shes the only employee who has ever been kind and helpful. Ive had plenty of problems with the rest of them; with them just being mean or judgemental. I will inform all my family and friends to take their business else where because we will not support discrimination.
