During my visits I was impressed with both the veterinary care and office staff . On time appointments and very little wait times.

We had to let our baby, Bandit, cross the rainbow bridge today. We came to Academy and they were so professional and compassionate, gave us all the time we needed to say good-bye. I was able to hold my baby through the entire process, for which I will be forever grateful. Thank you to those at Academy that made a very difficult situation, a little bit easier.

I have been taking my dogs to Dr Chil since she was doing her internship in Carthage. Dr Cahil is the best most caring vet in this area. Always does the best for my fur babies. I would not trust anyone else to care for my babies health. Jake, Joe , Maddie and Carlie all had good long life’s thanks to Dr Cahil. Roxy and Marley are current clients.

Been going here for years. The staff is always friendly and they care. We brought a German Shepard we found in who was 30lbs full grown and on her death bed. They helped us treat her and get her back to a happy health weight. We've dealt with allergy issues with our cockapoo and they helped us figure that out. I highly recommend them.

Staff not friendly, kind of gave the vibe of being “better than” which is essentially bad for business and not a good look . The only staff member that was nice was the assistant, other than that, not one time did the other staff members respond to my simple “thank you” which makes me very thankful that I was there on the strength of a family member (I took my sisters dog in for her) so I will not be returning! Maybe other people will get better treatment but for me, not a good time.

Staff is always friendly, great during an emergency, doc really cares about her patients. Costs for care here run a out 25% under what we paid with our previous vet.

I tried to call yo get my cat in for an emergency and after following the auto system instructions and it ringing 4 times they hung up on me.

I am very disappointed in my experience with them. My kitty had to stay overnight. Came home with a big vet bill and what looked like duct tape stuck to his bottom from being catheterized. Was not able to reach them on the Saturday they were open, so had to make another trip over on Monday to have the tape removed. And After several attempts to contact the Office Manager with my concerns. With no response. I have decided that I will NEVER bring my pets there again.

This was Sadie’s first visit with Dr. Cahill. Dr. showed great care and interest in Sadie. Something she did that other vets have not offered is to come up with a preventative game plan to help with Sadie‘s allergies early next Spring. All of the staff were friendly and the prices were very reasonable compared to other facilities. I would highly recommend Academy Animal Hospital.
