In today at 2:00 for a late lunch. Everything was great. I had chicken tenders my wife had the tenderloin. Every thing was hot and fresh. Bijou was our server and she did a great job. I don't think you can go wrong with this place. Great job and a tip of the hat.

Brunch was a success. Eggs fluffy. Bacon cooked to perfection. Sausage links were perfect as well. The juice was great with a serving of fresh sliced strawberries ?.Vegetarian options: Fresh fruit and orange juice ?

Food delicious other than the apple pie soup. But please don't allow your waitress to wear underwear as shorts. They were so far up her rear that they may as well not been there and don't get me started on seeing all her front business too. I'm sure that the guys love it but the elderly and moms do not. Do better with dress code that's just unprofessional.

Been here a few times for dinner, and it was generally good. Wait staff was sometimes inexperienced and didn't seem to quite have the concept of customer service down (but other times was excellent). BUT, just tried their lunch buffet for the first time yesterday and wow, it was *great*. Just the basics that appeal to mid-MO people: fried chicken, fried catfish, mashed potatoes, green beans, two other veg, mac and cheese...very traditional, but sooooooo nicely done. The vegetables were surprisingly good, even the broccoli. Service was excellent, and the kitchen kept the buffet well stocked even though it was busy. Price is, I think, $10.99 each, total came to $30-something for two, maybe drinks are extra, not sure--but so worth it (and really that's pretty cheap compared to almost every restaurant right now).

Veit's serves up one of the best breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches you'll find in mid-MO. Can't wait to try more from the menu!
