The guys/gals here really know their stuff! If it’s passports, crazy items that need mailing or just the regular old book of stamps they have you covered. Try to hit off peak times as they tend to get busy. They are located in the heart of the Government district in downtown Jefferson City. Open on Saturday as well!

I have never had an issue with this location until yesterday/today. Tried sending a couple of books via media mail yesterday and made the mistake of mentioning that I had cushioned the books with a bit of paper. Was told they would accept it this time but not to do that again. That's fine, I usually don't, but was being cautious. Purchased postage and thought all was well. Today the box was back at my door, rejected, opened, box damaged beyond use, books damaged like I was trying to avoid, with a flier taped to it about what qualifies as media mail postage.

Absolutely the most pleasant and accommodating people ever. It took me no more than 10 minutes start to finish to get my passport renewal finalized and mailed off. And all without an appointment. Strongly recommend!

Jim Stuckey and his carriers at this location lost my mail then told me daughter he was doing her a favor by trying to find it. The tracking says the delivery address was wrong Jim says someone hit the wrong button he doesn't know where it is...Jim Stuckey you are a government employee you ARE NOT DOING ME A Favor MY DELIVERING MAIL its actually your job!

The people there are the nicest people I have met! I am not much of a mailing guy but they helped me not only fit my package but made it as cheap as they could! I am impressed that I could be so happy at a post office! Haha, I am glad I went here! Thank you USPS!

All I need to do is to talk to someone at the post office but I can never get a hold of anyone, always with an automated voice thing. Extremely frustrating as I'm trying to resolve and URGENT matter.
