My wife and I took our 2 young children to the playground immediately next to this establishment. Here is my review of the playground, which is relevant to the Salvation Army as well. I hope they read it. For your reference, this occured March 3rd, 2024 during the dinner hour.Not sure what they were thinking when they put a playground here. It is directly next to the Salvation Army. Literally immediately next to their building and parking area. My wife and I took our 2 young children. It was actually an ideal playground set for them, regarding their abilities. Pretty safe and fun. However, when we arrived, there was an older resident of the Salvation Army drinking alcohol and smoking right next to the playset. He left shortly after we arrived. Soon, other residents of the facility started wandering around very nearby, swearing profusely, laying down on the sidewalk. I felt like we were in San Francisco or something. Cars were pulling up, apparently selling drugs and alcohol to the residents. Our children loved the playset that our hard earned taxpayer dollars paid for. Unfortunately, it was in probably the worse location I can imagine. I don't recommend parents take children here, definitely don't let your children go alone, and definitely not for mothers to take their children. Stupidity like this just makes me sad.

I called this place last week, was told they would have funds to help with rent on the first of this month. Well I went there Monday on the first, not open!! So I went back on Tuesday. All the doors on both buildings locked and no one would answer the phone, I called several times btw. So today I call them and finally I got someone to answer. Guess what THEY ARE OUT OF FUNDS. For real, how??? Its only been three days!!! Thanks for the rum around of no help. Gas isn't cheap!!

Me and my fiancee/boyfriend Rodney Lavern Thompson went to my best friend's Stacy Ann Clark funeral services june 20th,2020 because she (died in her sleep)passed away Deceased as of 05/26/2020. She was my best friend for 32 years since 1988 in Jefferson City High School that's where we met and became best friends every since that day.
