We came here on a recommendation. First off, the atmosphere and decor are great! The food was good. We didn't try the beers as we had people to meet with after dinner. I will recommend the bread pudding.

Prison Brews first opened its doors on April 7, 2008. We are a unique brewpub located on the historic east side of Jefferson City, two blocks from the old Missouri State Penitentiary.
