Installer ordered wrong size ac part. Company wouldn’t take part back. Therefore customer…me was forced to pay for said part that wasn’t even plugged in or used. Place is a joke

I'm a Contractor that has 27 years exp and a HVAC Masters license In Missouri and Colorado. With a business in Denver and now in Columbia Mo.I recently landed a job replacing 150 furnaces and ac units. So I stopped in to this branch to get a quote as the job will be in Jeff City as well. However I was laughed at and told they couldn't sell a unit to me but they could sell it to the customer next to me and he could sell it to me! Because I'm not a contractor? Well smart guy you just lost alot of money and this contractor!!! Try some customer service and get to know who your talking to before you get smart!Business 101!!!

My air conditioner quit on a friday afternoon. I called tons of repair people that said they could not get out until (maybe) monday. I did some research and discovered it was most likely my capacitor. I called Johnstone at 430 they guy said they had one but they were closed. He said he would stay open until I arrived to pick it up. He was very nice and talked with me about the problem. The capacitor was the problem so now I dont have to suffer in the 95+ degree weekend. This place is a life saver.

They should put on their Web Site that they are closed to the public. Very disappointed after a long drive.
