Absolutely ridiculous to sit in a drive thru for 40 minutes. Both cars behind me left and went in. Walgreens and hyvee drive thru pharmacy is the worst.

Really Hy-Vee what has happened to your customer service?
I was told my rx was to be ready at a certain time, and when I went to pick it up I was told the pharmacist was working on it and it will take 30-40 minutes.
I waited 40 minutes sitting in my car, went in and was told pharmacist is working on it, and will be about 30 minutes. Geez
WHEN THEY SAY THE PHARMACIST IS WORKING ON IT DOESN’T MEAN THEY ARE FILLING YOUR RX, IT ONLY MEANS THEY HAVE YOUR SCRIPT.

The absolute worst. We transferred a prescription from another pharmacy for a medication that was ou, but Hy-Vee had in stock. Time to refill it again, our pharmacy and Hy-Vee are both out, but Walmart had it available. After multiple calls over two days from us and Walmart, we are still waiting for Hy-Vee to transfer the prescription to Walmart with absolutely no resolution. Multiple phone calls not picked up and my last phone call was hung up on when transferred to the pharmacy.

This place is the worst, customer service is slow and rude. Lack of staff makes it even worse. Prescriptions are never ready when they say they are. The store and Pharmacy has gone down hill in the last year!!

I would like to thank the staff (she had red hair in a long pony tail and glasses) and pharmicist (short brown hair and I think she had glasses as well) I was so worked up I didn’t get their names. But they both decided to stay a little late the night before the 4th because I got off late and had the closing time wrong. I arrived after closing and the gate was already closed but after I explained that I had worked all day and rushed all the way from Columbia they graciously offered to still allow me to pick up my script even though I know they didn’t have to. I want to thank them because without my medication I may not be having such a great time right now. There have been issues in the past sure but this moment of kindness has made me forget all about that. One thing for sure I will never forget this!
Thank you again and give these ladies a raise. In a world full of selfish and rude people who have no idea what true customer service is, you have found two gems that you should do your very best to keep. I’ve been a customer here a long time and I have never been so blow away by such an act of selflessness. It may be small to some but it was huge to me.

There is no management system in place. Every time there is a different excuse for not having your RX ready. There is no professional staff. Their system sends every RX out of the store to fill. They do not let customers know that information. They do not take responsibility for their mistakes.

Took two and a half hours to fill a prescription for eye drops. This place is unreal!
