I put two applications in and so far not one call from this store asking me to come in for an interview yet they said there hiring yeah here's the thing I'm looking to work here cause it's close in walking distance from my apartment and I have not gotten a call back I want a job so I can live a better life in my apartment

They are so racist the way I was just watched in the store!! They announced as I was briskly walking towards the eggs "assistance is needed towards the back" and the girl I saw who didn't great me at door down the egg isle I grabbed my eggs and milk and briskly walked up to the front they announced "assistance is needed towards front" I went to slef check out and left.....do better!!!

I love the bakery and food area, I've lived all over the country and Hy-Vee is definitely one of my favorite grocery stores. It is on the pricey side if you're looking for big branded box items. But the Hy-Vee brand is just as good.

Been going there every morning for years.. but on my last visit my helper as I am a plumber.. looked at a pair of sun glasses and put them back. The mostly bald man that works every morning followed him out. Started taking pictures of my car and telling me he stole and not to come back. I told him to call the police, have my car searched. I would not have stolen stuff in my car. He did not call the police. Would not have my car searched even with my allowing it. After all these years, I will no longer be going there for anything.

There is an old man that works here that is very unpleasant. He sort of yells when he talks to you, it’s very rude and almost made me feel like a criminal when trying to buy two beers. I’m 32 and my husband who was with me is 38. we are clearly not under age he could’ve been kinder when yelling for my ID. Also this is the third time in a few years I have encountered him so I will not be going back.

Most of the staff is rude. If you try to use a cigarette coupon they tell you it won’t scan. And everything here is way higher than it is any other place. I won’t ever be going to another Hi vee

9.26.19 5:00 pm I'm an older lady coming in to buy a hotdog. My husband's getting gas. Steven, the old guy and Andrew ? the younger guy, manning the register. They don't look at me, don't say a word to me, just ignore e and keep talking. I go to pay and a middle aged man walks in and he gets a loud, cheery "Hi! How you doing tonight?" Was I the wrong color for a greeting? My money not green enough? Or my skin too dark? Fail dudes, total fail. F-

David the manager is super nice I have to use handicap gas pumps and he really is nice. This morning he went out of his way and got me two breakfast sandwiches

Used a coupon for $7 Chinese buffet on Super bowl Sunday about 330 pm...this must be what Chinese food in prison tastes like LoL ! It's not very good, though not super bad...

It was late when I went to pick something up to eat and I had to settle for something made a head and in take out. It was not good food. I can't believe anyone would serve something that bad.

Firstly, the checkout clerks all seem to be A1 excellent. The big gripes are: 1: Countless fruit flies around the fruit. 2: The "background music" is LOUD LOUD LOUD!!! You can't "shop" or think with 80s rock blasting that loud. Now, I LOVE loud music like this, but NOT when I'm making decisions on my dietary needs and money I'm going to spend. Any time I've mentioned this to a clerk or other worker, I've been met with a shrug or "I don't notice it." No offer to mention to a manager, to let me speak with a manager, etc. So, I probably have made my last attempt to shop at this Hy-Vee.
