Visited 3p.m. April 8th, after watching the eclipse. Wanted to send 2 post cards to relatives. All they had for sale was a blank, cheap paperstock card with a mallard on it as a readymade stamp (but this was fine.) I was told (by the polite young man at the desk) the postcard's postage was already paid; the USPS FOREVER next to the mallard supported this, as well as the price of both matching 2 post card stamps. Dashed "Greetings from Jackson, MO!" on one side of each. Filled out the address and a note on the other. Neither family has received my post card; I assume the workers took one look at it and pitched it as "dis ain't got no stamp." Unfortunately this seems to be at least a statewide problem: back home, I had to briefly a cell phone jammer at my mailbox to keep the postal worker from shoving handfuls of random peoples' letters into my mailbox as she loudly gabbed to her GURL-fraynz.

I wish the Jackson Post Office in Jackson, Mo. didn't give away my game I ordered from Ebay to the wrong address. Wasted money for someone who has my game now for free. I wish They go find my package & return it to me.

Overall the USPS does a great job delivering billions of letters and packages everyday thanks for all you do. However, every now and then you get a few things that annoy customers like me.1.) placing the mail way back in the rear of the mailbox that you have to get out of your vehicle to try and retrieve it which could have been easily just left inside near the front of the mailbox door as my mailbox door is sealed well. So it does not get wet from the rain unless you leave the door open?2.) My pet peeve which has happened to me and others too many times and irritates me is jamming packages or boxes that do not fit in the mailbox. I even have a larger mailbox than usually accommodates most boxes and packages but I can't control the size of box sent to me by the carrier. What is sad is my mail carrier actually bends the corners of the box's in because it does not fit thus jamming it in and making it almost impossible to retrieve it without me destroy the box/package? This is unexceptable and poor service as they could destroy the contents as well inside which they have done before. Plus the could have easily just place it by the right side of my front door (which is not seen and a nice covered area away from prying eyes) instead of outside (unprotected from the rain or snow, wildlife or questionable visitors) by the garage door. What is sad as it even specifies on the shipping label usually, "please deliver to the right side of my front door covered area." Yet it is dropped off on the sidewalk 10 feet away from the front door or by the garage out in the open.Sorry if you have to get out of your vehicle and walk a few feet to my front door but please make it easier on the customer so we don't have to complain and make issues of poor customer service. thanks. (enclosed image an example of jamming my mailbox) Best to You

Purchased a guitar from an enlisted person overseas. It shipped through the post office. When it came, it was signature required. The postman (not our usual one), signed off on it and dropped it in a puddle on our front porch. When I went to the post office with photos of the incident. I was told “that isn’t how we do business and that the carrier would be questioned “. Not even an apology. Also have placed several things in box in the past 2 days for pickup and they were still there this morning.

We live on highway 61. The mailman never closes our mailbox. Our mail gets soaked and not legiable. We get our neighbors mail. I've had packages in box that anyone can see. I'm fed up. If my new package I have coming gets wet I'm calling the police and filing charges on the mail carrier.?

Tried to get help for over an hour with a package that had the wrong address on it. They could not have cared less about it and were absolutely no help whatsoever.

Our packages are often put on the wrong mail truck so they are rarely on time with delivery. I’ve also had mail go missing and no apology was made. It was their error because they were the last ones to have it. I will add that this happens year round - not just in the busy holiday months. In addition, I repeatedly receive my neighbor’s mail and they mine.

I am not sure why the mailman just threw my box in the vicinity of my front door. Why couldn't he just walk it up to the front door and set it down? I guess it was a good thing nothing broke because otherwise USPS would be paying for the damaged items.

Have always had issues with home mail delivery at Jackson Missouri Postal Service. Had to get a lock box mailbox as they kept leaving the mailbox open and we live on a busy highway. Just called regarding a notice of unable to deliver spoke to a very rude Bryan at the Jackson Post Office who advised it should have fit in the mailbox and could not give me a reason why it was not delivered. I explained to him that we have always had issues with delivery. Asked him to speak with the carrier to find out why the mail was not left in the designated place for package delivery. I in no uncertain terms advised him how poor their service was and asked for re-delivery. Bryan at the Jackson Missouri Post Office hung up on me. Thank you for your kind consideration. As usual 0 customer service skills and VERY POOR MAIL DELIVERY JACKSON MISSOURI POST OFFICE!
