This is a shout out to Joseph at the Independence location store #01014 on Bolger Road. On 12/17/2022 at 2:30 I was in line to check out. There were 2 different ladies that had some problems with their card for payment. Joseph needed a manager to finish the transaction. Under pressure with people waiting, Joseph remained calm and unshaken. He finished all transaction with ease and remained smiling. My turn came and he was friendly and professional. This young man deserves recognition for the great job he does.

I used to purchase rotisserie chicken from Walmart on a regular basis. Like I mean real regular. Probably three times a week for years and years. When I moved to Kansas City I was glad to see that the local Walmart to me which is the independence location near the mall sells rotisserie chickens. But that luck turns to bad luck quickly because it seemed like the rotisserie chickens were never sitting out ready to go and usually work stream Lee dry as if they had been a very overcooked. IT GETS WORSE!! I purchased a rotisserie chicken as usual and went home to eat my dinner. I eat lunch/dinner at about 2 because I only eat once a day and since I only eat once a day it's easy to narrow down where my food poisoning came from. Yep.. Contaminated. After eating my chicken at 2 and finishing my day of work I was on my way back home and starting to feel weird in my stomach kind of like I was getting sick. By 8 or 9 p.m. I began to vomit and other things that I won't mention in good conversation. This lasted for our about a day and a half. It was probably the worst sick I've ever been in my life. I went to the hospital and was put on IVs cuz I was so dehydrated. It was ruled food poisoning. It cost me thousands of dollars in medical bills. Since then I can no longer stand to eat chicken. After mentioning this to a girl who works at Walmart she laughed and said that's not surprising at all. The people who work back there are extremely unqualified and most of them don't change their gloves after handling raw chicken and then pulling the chicken out that's completed and cooked. She also went on to say that she has seen people measure the temperature of the smallest chicken in the rotisserie and determined that it was just good enough and then not even consider measuring the temperature on chickens much larger near it. One has to wonder how many people this Walmart has killed.

So I need to give a shout out to Brittany, in the Vision Center. My glasses had snapped in half and nothing I did to patch them to last, til I could get into a doctor, was working. I had called so many businesses as well as 2 OTHER Walmart Vision Centers before this one. Every single one including this location were so booked they could not squeeze me in for a quick eye exam and a contact lense fitting to get me by til I could get a new pair of glasses. However, Brittany came up with the brilliant idea to transplant my lenses into frames that were of a similar style, and she had time to do it. So I rush up and give her my shambled frames and she finds frames that would work for me. THANK YOU so much for taking the time to help me, Brittany, I would have had to wait til Wednesday or Thursday and because of you I did not have to do that! I will definitely be coming back in the future!

this store has went to hell!!!! i am so done with wasting my time there!!!!! they never have stocked shelves anymore! i go to this location frequently, as i have for years now!! but it always looks the same way!! day and night! i couldn't even purchase a damn box of swiffer pads today......at a walmart super center!!!!! that just blows my mind!!!!the entire section was empty! .....and thats just one item!!!! this has become a regular occurance now!!! i am better off driving a little ways down the street to target!! at least it looks like a store in business!!! .....and i can purchase everything i need that day in one trip!! i get so tired of playing "guess the price of items" as well.......there are as many products in this store on shelves with no damn price listed as there are with prices!!! if you really need to know, you have to walk clear back up to the front of the store and ask an associate to do a price check!!!! no other place to check...and their app to scan from your phone is pure shit!!!! there is not a product you can scan with out "can not find item" popping up!!! are you kidding me? its their own damn products as your standing in their damn store!!! they never have the price sticker located on the shelves below or above the products anymore! i have never seen such a poor selection of merchandise as in this store....i spend an average of 500.00 a week, every week in this store!!!! just to get 5 sets of eyes on me as i pay and walk out the damn door!!! excuse me all to hell walmart!!!! ....but you wont find any theives giving you $500. 00 a week up at the self check out registers!!! i mean.....come on!!!!! really!!! maybe it's just me.....but something tells me, theives probably avoid this section of the store!!!! not counting 15 cops in the back probably just watched me ring up every single damn item on their monitors!!!!! then watched me walk out holding my receipt that goes clear to the damn floor!!! but hey........ its your damn loss!!! pathetic how every dollar you try to increase your profits by.....you have to scam, deprive, lie, inconvenience and look down on your customers to get!!! as far as i and everyone i have been talking to are concerned, walmarts customer service, stores and business ethics have just went straight to hell.....and the icing on the cake is.....you don't give a damn!!!! so keep your misspriced, missing prices, half stocked store with its intentional " we will just fuck you at the register" for the unintelligent folks!!! their the only ones you aim to please anyway for the government funding / tax breaks you get!!! ...and obviously, they are not aware of the fact, they deserve better!.....walmart has become one worthless, stressful, inconvenient shopping trip to hell!!!! ....and all due to your greedy, don't have to give a shit business ethics!!!! time to gladly move my business right on down the street!! to a store who does know how to treat its customers and where my business is appreciated!!! people don't have to take this crap anymore!!! you opened up self check out registers and with that came the lame idea, the g..damn place was going to run itself!!!!!!

they got the lowest quality stuff for the most expensive price, what i look like spending 20 dollars on some facial cleaners that's going to break my skin out? or spending 10 dollars on a shirt that already has strings hanging out of it waiting for it to fall apart? wouldn't recommend coming here.

Cashier calls cusyomer service. Who then sends the customer back instead of going herself. Holding up the line at a busy time. Poor customer service

The shelves were very organized and it was easy to locate exactly what I needed. Every associate we came across was friendly and helpful. The lines were not long. They have a nursing room which makes breastfeeding and diaper changes very easy and comfortable.

The service that I received at the eye center was absolutely great. Seriously. I really appreciated the eye doctor and the staff. My wife and I plan to bring our daughter over soon.

Currently standing in the store waiting to put something on layaway. A sign says open daily 10am to 7pm. There is no one back here. I had to call the store. They had to send someone back. Thankfully after a nearly a 20 minute wait a customer service manager showed up to help me. She was apologetic and got through the process quite quickly.

TERRIBLE service. My fiancé and I went in to buy a mini fridge we asked an employee to help us get the mini fridge down from the top shelf. She told us that she'd send someone over to help 15 minutes go by and nobody has came. We ended up managing to get he fridge down and into the cart ourselves, we then went to go check out and as we were walking out the door a lady stop us and says "I need to check your receipt" so we showed her the receipt. But keep in mind she didn't check anyone's receipts that walked out before us and didn't check anyone's receipt that walked out behind us. I called to complain to the manager and waited on hold for 20 minutes and just said screw it.

This place has nothing on my local Walmart back in Fredonia/Dunkirk New York - I was actually quite impressed. However, the woman at the register - was the absolute slowest I have EVER had to deal with and I've dealt with a lot of cashiers. They did have a nice clearance area - great selection and I was able to find everything I wanted, but they need better training for the cashiers up front.

Hate going to this walmart. I can pick out the employees to avoid because of their snarky remarks or rude attitude. Their fish tanks need to be taken out. They probably spend more money on them than they make. And this is probably why they are so terribly taken care of. I bought 12 fish from there, all of them died after they replaced the first 3 I refused to exchange them anymore and asked for a refund because they kept dying. I went next door to pets mart and yet to have an issue with our fish. Most recently I was just looking at their tanks and noticed that each tank had multiple dead fish and snails floating around and stuck against the filter. Each tank had at least 5 dead fish. On top of that they had way too many fish per tank. Absolutely ridiculous
