Edit: just came in 7/7/24 paid $133 for fill and pedi and my nails are lumpy and they didn’t narrow them like I asked. I could have done better on my own as I am a licensed cosmetologist. Very rough and unprofessional. This place as went downhill! Go elsewhere
Very updated and classy place to go! I came in with a horrible dip ombre from another salon and had that removed and had an acrylic overlay done with polish and these are by far the very best nails I have ever gotten done! I will not be going anywhere else. The lady who did my nails name was Ni and she was very understanding and accommodating to what I was wanting! I am a cosmetologist so I am extremely picky about my nails and there is not even a single blemish in them at all! Keep up the great work guys! You have a forever customer with me for sure!!

I've noticed a concerning trend in many nail salons across the KC area: a lack of transparency regarding prices and hidden up-charges. It's frustrating not to find clear price lists displayed within the facilities, which seems like a tactic for price gouging. Customers should be able to make informed decisions without feeling pressured into unnecessary services. For instance, charging $6 just to remove polish is excessive, especially when getting a full pedicure. A base price of $35 should include more than just a foot soak. It's disappointing and unfair. Additionally, despite explicitly stating I didn't want gel, I received a subpar paint job. Overall, this experience felt greedy and unacceptable. Personally I would never come back to this place . Like many other KC salons , this one bites the dust too.

My regular salon was closed when I arrived for my scheduled appointment! I called M nail studio and they were gracious and told me to come on in! Needless to say I was quite pleased and my nails look great!

UPDATE: I have been to see Bebe twice more for nails and once for a pedi. (Her pedis are every bit as amazing as her nails—you’d better just book her for both.) I just love her and her work more every visit! ??
Okay, first of all, this place is under new management. I was hesitant when I walked in and didn’t recognize anybody, BUT I’m so glad I stayed!
This is quite literally the best pedicure I have ever gotten, and I got the same pedi I have gotten for years at this place. I had no idea my toenails could be shaped THIS perfectly, and I thought the former M Nail staff did a great job.
Now, let’s talk about my nails. ASK FOR BEBE! My nails are incredible. I hate short nails but can’t have my XL nails right now because of work. When I explained this to Bebe, she gave me a length and shape that is an absolute game-changer!
She put my acrylic powder on perfectly smooth, without any ridges or dips. Her clean-up was also amazing—there wasn’t a drop of gel or topcoat on my skin or under my nails, not a single edge that’s rough. I’m talking PERFECT! I didn’t get to my car and have to pick at things or get home and file. (My usual salon experience, even after asking for these things to be done.)
Bebe has been in the game almost 30 years, and it is obvious in the quality of her work. She didn’t put my fingers side by side to check length or turn my hands around to check the shape. She just did her thing and was absolutely spot-on.
AND HER PERSONALITY?! 10/10 somebody I adored spending an hour and some change with. I have cheated on nearly every nail tech I’ve had in KC, because everybody has always left something to be desired. Bebe, though?! She’s stuck with me.

Went here for 3 years for them to over charge me going into 2024 and be extremely rude to me for needing my nails redone for them messing them up and all employees to be extremely rude when I asked for a design they couldn’t execute don’t not recommend.

I brought my mother and sister-in-law here to get our nails done. The experience was mostly pleasant as the staff were nice. Prices seemed fair, but no signage of pricing was posted so you won't know your estimated total unless you ask.
The only issue I have is the gel manicure I got on 3/26/24 already started to chip by saturday 3/30/24. For this reason, I cannot recommend this nail salon :(

The newer tech BEBE is the best ! I haven’t received such good work like hers in at a nail shop in years, she is the really good at her work and takes her time. I didn’t want to share her with yall, lol but her work is so good she deserves her 5 star review!!
