They really went out of their way to help us out with parts pick up. My husband has a 39 Chevy Truck and needed parts. We were going by KC and they arranged an off hours pick-up. Really appreciated that. Carol and John were great for customer service.

Last year I received a personal letter from Jim Carter congratulating me on completing the restoration of my 1956 Chevrolet panel truck - it was appreciated!

Early this year I acquired a 42/46 Chev truck, I had no idea where to start rebuilding the truck I then found Jim Carter trucks on Google and being in New Zealand, Jim was absolutely awesome to deal with, parts and freight to New Zealand, not a problem, we got a long way to go yet , so with the new catalog at hand, I will keep ordering parts from Jim Carter,

Pretty much everything thing went fine with the parts I ordered and installation of those parts. The bumper bracket grommets did not fit. The opening to the grommet is to small. It is definitely not made to fit 41' to 46' Chevy truck. The website says it will fit but it did not fit. Other than that I was mostly satisfied with Jim Carter parts. Here's a couple of flicks of my pickup.
