Hertz is always working on getting you going to the road!! Even if they don't always have enough vehicles, just keep looking at other locations in the area and you might be lucky ?! They have good employees who work to be the best!

Fairly quick in picking up the vehicle. I will say it seems maintenance om their vehicles is lacking. The car I got smokes every time I start it. And sometimes makes a crazy knocking noise.

Filing fraud charges on this hertz and lyft for taking more money out of.my account after rental was returned plus they are still holding deposits. What a scam I hope these companies go out of business what a waste of space. Update almost a month away from rental still getting charged for something. Now I have been charged 91.00, 36.00 and .20. This is a big scam that never ends plus will never give statements on what charges are. Why is this such a bad program for people living paycheck to paycheck. I guess I am done doing lyft and I will never rent from hertz.

Jasmine and Trey were helpful, quick. Jasmine was super sweet and funny. Great experience, possibly the best I have ever had with a rental agency.
Dollar rented me a car with a check engine light that started to shudder when idling, tire ended up blowing... and no jack in car to replace.... and this location took care of me within maybe 15 min of arriving.
Couldn't ask for better, Jasmine deserves a raise imo.

I was in desperate need of transportation, made a reservation online, caught an Uber to the location and when I arrived I was told that they had no vehicles available. This was very frustrating!! I was depending on this transportation to fulfill my business responsibilities and was left with nothing. Note: after making the reservation, I tried calling them to confirm that they had a vehicle but there was no option to contact the direct location.
I will never return to Hertz or recommend them to any one.

Sean was absolutely amazing. I spoke with 4 people between the Independence & Gladstone location & none of them were willing to help me out except for Sean. I went in to pick up my rental & he was the only one working. He was helping me get my rental, assisting questions with other people in the office and answering calls. Thanks Sean!!

I will never deal with this location again unless I absolutely have to. I waited over an hour to return my rental. I’m not sure if they are short staffed, lacking rentals or what but I have never waited that long to return a car. There were people there who had been there waiting longer than I was. They were still there waiting when I left.
The 2 men at the front were very patient and nice. They did help me resolve an issue I had with my contract.

Had a reservation- showed up to be told there are zero cars available- no attempt to find one at another location. The guy said corporate over books them on purpose and there’s nothing they can do about it!!!

Learn to have patience. Change your attitude. You can't tell a customer you not gone rent to them cause they want to talk to who's over you. This is arrogant.
Now Tre always has great customer service. He needs Shaun's job

The car was nice and clean, it just took forever to get it. They are only working 1 guy and he’s doing it all up front. Took 2 days after returning the car to have it released from continuous charges. You can’t call..if you need anything your best bet is to go up there and wait.

Lyft cars are unavailable. Been trying for weeks now, keep getting the run around. They never answer the phone and when they do they say check back Thursday, check back Monday, 4 weeks later still no car available. Even though I had a reservation, it was for a car that didn’t exist. Don’t do business with this place. Shame on Lyft for associating themselves with this customer service hell-hole.
