This Dollar General is the only one I go to. Shelves always stocked, employees are the greatest n they do one heck of a good job. My favorite store for sure. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. YOU ALL ARE AWESOME!!!

I stopped in to get a few stationary items. I made my selections and proceeded to the register area. As I approached, a worker left from behind the register area and walked away. As I approached the entrance area another worker exited from behind the register area and looked me in the eye and walked off. There was no one else behind the register to make the sale transaction. I waited then put my things on the counter and left. I suppose they can pick and choose with whom they wish to make a sale. I will drive 20 miles to do business with Walmart before I return to a sloppy dollar general.

I was blessed to go back in the Dollar General yesterday and the manager was in there. I got to thank her again for how much that she does a wonderful wonderful lady who bring so much joy even with the chaos that went on the night before last she still, you could just feel her inner peace such a woman with such a good spirit. I do not hear her complaining but I see her maintaining. I am inspired by here patience, multitasking, listening ear, ect. They keep this store clean, organized and have class.. Truly a blessing.

Here's a CRAZY IDEA. If you sell out of things like Xtra Laundry Detergent in the large 206oz sizes and Alpo Dog Food 31lb bags quickly and everything else just sits on the shelf. Maybe entertain DOUBLING the orders of stuff that sells so you have it. Get it together.

With the rising prices for basic nececcities, I'm looking to save as much money as I can, so I downloaded the DG app for the coupons. The app it self seems reasonably easy. Click on the product you want add it to your wallet to redeem at the store.. except the products that are on the app don't match what they have in store. While I was checking out I noticed my savings weren't adding up., when I asked the cashier if all my coupons had been applied, she didn't know, and the other 4 employees working upfront didn't know either. It's concerning the ,employees don't seem to know anything about the app that the store so widely promotes. So what was laundry soap, body wash and deodorant turned into 80 dollars of not saving much of anything. I highly recommend you just shop somewhere else that's less messy, more organized and not riddled with second hand employees. You won't save any more money, their prices are even higher then Walmart now. Spare you're self the grieve, confusion and anger. Don't shop here. I only gave it 2 stars because I feel like app would be nice if it matched up with the store products.
