I wish I could give them less this place has been nothing but horrible
First they would refuse to change my email on my account after making the mistake of putting my sisters email on it
Second didn’t listen when I said I DIDNT want to be mailed any papers
And the most recent they put my account on a security hold and this whole thing has me highly stressed because the first person I talked to said hi and then hung up once they heard me respond the next person refused to tell me what was going on the 3rd person finally told me but lied about their hours telling me that I can’t do anything with my account or do anything until I can come in on Monday refusing to tell me that I could’ve come in on Saturday honestly I wish it could’ve been better for a place so close to home but it’s been nothing but stress

Been banking here for over 20 years. There's a reason I still do. Great place and will keep your money safe. I lost $12,000 to someone due to fraud and Commerce recovered every penny for me.

Sometimes good, sometimes bad. I've waited or 5 min to even be acknowledged in the drive through when there's noone else in the drivethrough. I've pressed the callbutton before because the shuttle wasn't working and noone showed up, again, noone in the driver through(had to just go home that day. Then other times it's perfectly pleasant. Everytime it seems like the folks are nice, but it also seems like they don't care about the customers. I wish it were more consistent. I've only been to one other branch, but it is consistently better.

I go here to do deposits and change orders for work and they are always helpful. They work fast and efficiently! Every time I walk in someone says HI and they are able to help me soon after. This bank is my favorite one to go to and I will continue Togo to them for my banking needs!

If I could give 0 stars, I would!!! This (EMPLOYEE / BRANCH MANAGERS!!!) truck is parked in the special truck and trailer lane. As a customer, you are not able to access the bank drive up lane. After asking them to move the truck so we can access the drive up lane, we were told they we unable to do so because their employee parked there. Excuse me?! That is not how you treat your customers! Why on earth would you let your employee park in the special lane, that specifically indicates WITH A SIGN POSTED, saying it is a special lane for trucks and trailers? In addition, that truck was parked ILLEGALLY, there was a parking lot just around the corner. I would recommend corporate takes action and fires that employee along with that branch manager. That is not how you treat "valued customers". Commerce Bank, your website states - "We provide both the high-touch personal service and innovative solutions our customers need to allow them to bank when, where and how they prefer". Please explain to me how a customer is allowed to bank when they cannot even access the bank!!! Please back up your "promises" with your actions. Commerce Bank's slogan is "Challenge Accepted", I challenge you to take action ASAP before you lose more customers! Unacceptable and unbelievable!!! Still in shock of such horrible customer service!

I’ve banked with Commerce since I started working when I was 16. They were great for the first two weeks until I downloaded their app. Their app will lie and say I have a certain amount in my account when I really don’t, I have my card set up to where it can’t be charged if there’s no money on it. So the app lies and says I have this amount of money I only spend a couple dollars out of this amount of money and i’ll wake up the next day negative in my account and than in charged with MULTIPLE over draft fee. They consistently screw up, the drive through workers are rude, once I pay off my credit card I will be closing my account with them due to the inconsistency and the amount of stress this bank causes me. I would not recommend them to anyone, I have friends who i’ve steered the opposite way of Commerce and I have a lot of friends who agree that Commerce is the worst bank you could bank with here. GO TO COMMUNITY AMERICA!!

RUN! Ebonics Cassandra! WARNING! Only needed to reset online password. Called in @ 503 NW Hwy 7, Blue Springs, MO and was transferred to Ebonics Cassandra . How she has a job at this bank is beyond belief. Cassandra has HORRID customer service skills!!! My parents are 98 yrs and 87 yrs old living in assisted living and cannot come into the branch. The ancient Commerce Bank online has locked us out of their account to many times to count and we have set on hold for 1:12hr for the 800 online backing 'Help'. I could barely understand Cassandra through the thick ebonics speech and tried to get her to help us reset the password, she said call the 800 number which I told her we already did. I asked her to please help, NUMEROUS times, because she continued to railroad and talk over me. Why Ebonics Cassandra? I asked her, can we call in on 3 way for her to help? NO. Can call you back to help us? NO, she has no extension. She continued to talk over me telling me to call the 800 number. I'll make sure to post my experience on multiple outlets AND, guess what, we still have no online access. :( Next step is to close the account. HORRIBLE!!! Ebonics Cassandra at 503 NW Hwy 7, Blue Springs, MO. 816-234-2250. It's obvious by her attitude and talking over me shows hate for her job and how she's living a quiet life in desperation, while making customers pay for her misery. RUN!

I have been an account holder with Commerce Bank for 8 months. I had a great guy help me with opening the best account for me! I had a terrible problem with a company taking out an automatic payment over and over and over again; causing me hundreds in overdraw fees. That company denied doing so. I went to the bank honestly expecting them to say there was nothing they could do. But instead, I was treated with professionalism and compassion and the nice lady went above and beyond to solve my problem that day! She even refunded some of the overdraw fees! She got the situation taken care of and helped me out a great deal. It was so nice to be treated like a person and not a number. I have had all great service from every transaction I have had with Commerce Bank from opening my account, to making deposits and now saving me money and fixing a huge headache. I highly recommend this Bank!

Commerce Bank 39th st location in Independence,Mo is my preferred branch & has the most knowledgeable staff. The branch mgr & assistant branch mgr, Zach & Myriah are just wonderful.They are always quick to respond to any needs that I or my husband have. I would not bank anywhere else than this branch of Commerce.Thank You for always going the extra mile in customer service.
