they make you come inside no drive-through tellers on top of that, they decided to close lobby on Saturdays so the other Bank of America in Independence on Nolan Road has lines 15-20 people deep now on Saturdays. Once you get inside of the employees at this location a very friendly, so that's good.

Everyone is VERY friendly and ready to help. Great place to go. For me it's a LONG, LONG WAY across town since the one up the street from me closed down.

Came in last week and was unable to close my account because I didn't have an appointment. Made an appointment for this week and had someone without an appointment that was helped before me. I had a small window of time for the appointment due to their new time of operation. Had to schedule for my lunch break. I was closing my account because they charge a monthly service charge if your account has a balance less than $1,500. I had called months ago and was assured that my account was converted to a free account. While auditing my bank accounts at the end of the year, I discovered this wasn't the case. Samuel was friendly, quick, and efficient once helping me.

Terrible customer service!! Very bad !! Cash out the check but the banker said you want take your check to your own bank?! Stupid question!!

Although the staff were courteous, I stood in line for 15 minutes to get to the ONE bank teller that was available.

BoA ATM are the easiest & best way to go! Deposit cash, checks, withdrawal money, check your balance.. what more can you ask of a bank. Best ATM bank I know. I've been with them for 24yrs. Honestly, I'd rather do the ATM because a while back I went inside & had a problem with the teller. She was a very rude girl- Over me cashing a check & I had to write my last name in the "pay to" line because the person put my maiden name on check by accident. I told her I've been with yall for 22-23yrs and the ATM takes it. She wasn't happy nor would she let me cash the check. I almost quit the bank over it. Still deciding... already opened another account with a different NICER bank. Not sure what I may have up my sleeve.However, before this BoA has been Great to me!!! Though they have no problems hitting you with $34 overdraft fees, multiple times in 24hrs, even if it was $2.00 short. Come on yall! People are struggling and for you to take that kind of money from our pockets when we didn't/don't realize we went $2.00, or however much, over in our acct & evidently we were broker than we knew so you just take it & make it worse & harder to cover due to your HIGH CHARGES. Which takes time to recover from, due to your fee!!, & it's not like we weren't coming to deposit more money & fix our issue/mistake!!!! This is how banks do you.. they want your money in every way they can grab it. Who's literally robbing who here..???.... I understand a fee but $34?? Pityful & you should be ashamed.It's the mean teller that has me mad so she caused this review.

Sorry I cannot give this a zero. Should of known I was going to have problems when I first walked in. The employee at the front desk was leaning on her elbows and did not stand up when I came up to her. Asked me what i needed in a slightly perturbed manner. I told her I had several documents I needed to complete. That the documents were sent from Bank of America. I handed her the first document, a distribution from my deceased mother's cd, she looked at it and said, " I've never seen this before." RED FLAG! Then said, "Oh, this is for a minor." I told her no, it is for a distribution from my deceased mother's account. Rest of the paperwork has already been filed with Bank of America. She said, so I just need to mail this in? No, i can sign it here and get a certified check for my distribution. She then handed me back the document. The other document was to change the signature on the account held by me and my mother to just my signature. Told her I needed to change the transfer upon death information. She first said i couldn't do that, then said I needed a banker to do that. DUH - WHY DOES SHE THINK I CAME INTO THAT BRANCH. At this point I said, "Thank you, but I am going to a branch where they know what they are doing." And walked out. When i said that she finally stood straight up instead of leaning on her elbows, which she was doing the whole time and watch me walk out. A second employee was standing there the whole time and never said a word. After reviewing the reviews here, before I left this rating, I am now not surprised at the "service" or lack thereof I received at this location.

They never pick up the phone when I call them, they always take thir time depositing my checks, they charge me extra fines for using an atm. If you're planning on opening an account don't use this bank. use community America instead.

If I could give 1/4 star I would. Today was the second time in a row that I walked into this branch and was treated SO rudely I was dumbfounded. If you are thinking about opening an account with this bank, go somewhere else... really. The last time I went in to cash a check and they told me, "we have no access to our cash right now". What? Also, the description on google says "drive-thru services". Nope. Go ahead and get out of your car and walk in for the simplest transaction. 90% of other banks still have their drive thru open so do yourself a favor and go there.
