I've noticed that since the staff has changed I've had some racist experiences. This last situation was highly inappropriate. I went through the drive thru and was questioned about cashing a check. I was asked what kind of check is this, as if she didn't see it was a retirement check. Maybe she thought I was going to forget or lie. I'm not sure, maybe she thought a middle age Black woman shouldn't be getting a retirement check. She then I seen you hang another retirement check deposit through your account as if she was an FBI Agent. After that she says I have to hold your check for two days. I asked her why. She was rude and said well you can take it to Bank of America and have them cash it. Why would I do that!? I bank here! It has a number on it to verify. The rude conversation went on and on! Even after I had to tell her to verify the check she still wouldn't cash the check after seeing that the account at Bank of America existed!! I'm done with this bank! After my check is cashed I will be closing my account at this bank and going to Bank of America to open an account like she suggested. Meanwhile this management team needs to educate and train their staff not to be rude or refer the paying customers to go to other banks! I will never recommend anyone to bank here with this new staff!

Banked with them for over a decade. When I opened the account it was free. If you dont have so much money deposited or spent you get charged $8 a month for essentially not making enough income to bank with them. After closing the account the bank manager left a single cent in the account. When my trash bill went through months later I got a letter in the mail stating the account was negative $140.I had to go back and close the account again and reconfirm my banking info with the trash company. It was a complete headache.

The lobby has been closed, understandable. Everything is done in Drive Through. Always have to ask for the slips before I can fill them out which is why the lobby was good because I had time to do that without making someone wait on me. The tellers are good about it but it doesn't make me feel any less guilty.

My bank account was closed after two days because the balance was $0.00. I have been waiting for a wire transfer and my account was closed now I just talked to someone yesterday about my account and I was not told that after only 2 days of having a zero balance would be closed. I was told they sent the request to open the account back and my money will post today or tomorrow. They should no sense of remorse for just closing my account after 2 days of a zero balance. I've banked with bank midwest over 10 years and never recieved such horrible service.

Joe the bank manager, May, Tiffany, have all always been very helpful...Joe went out of his way to help me with EDR through the SBA and even connected me with a SBA specialist who took the time to answer all my questions and I feel relieved...these folks do business the way banks used to do business and I'm thankful Paul Dodds
