We could not be happier with our purchase from John Scialfa or with how easy the process was. As far as I can tell, John does almost all the business himself out of an auto-shop south of St. Louis. Please don't be dissuaded by the small size of the operation or the location. John seems to know the business well, operate ethically and professionally, and deal only with quality products. He gave us all the time and space we needed to evaluate the vehicle. Once we decided to purchase, he had us out of there in 30 min. Next time I'm looking for a vehicle, I'll check with John first.

I must amend my review of Scialfa Automotive. I no longer have the Honda I purchased here, but when I told the salesman about the cracked radiator two days after the sale, he gave me the number of his parts supplier, who sold me the part at cost. I apologize for the one star rating, and want to thank him for making it right and selling me a decent vehicle.

I bought my 2015 GMC Acadia. It's a beautiful car in perfect condition. I love my car. We also went back and purchased a 2002 mini van. I will definitely do business with them again.

A dealer knows if a car has a radiator leak when he gets it, and a dealer knows tricks to hide the radiator leak until the car is driven off the lot. Being a single woman and now having to shell out another $400 to replace the radiator, he could've set himself apart from the typical used car guy by replacing the radiator. But nope.

We bought a 2007 Saturn Aura for my little brothers 16th birthday. We spent $4,500 and we immediately had $1,200 of bills in just to get the car to stop shaking. The car was struggling to get to 50 MPH. The owner (John Scialfa) refused to answer our phone calls and told us we were stuck with the vehicle after 2 days of ownership. The dealer is only friendly up front but after you sign papers your nothing to him.
