Long review but worth the read.I started a new account in Fredericktown, but since I was traveling up here some paperwork was sent to the imperial location. Well, I thought it was at the Shady Valley location & wasn’t aware they do paperwork through drive through. So I traveled from Shady Valley to this one & told the young girl at the cashier desk what was going on. She sure was NOT helpful and rude. So I asked if she could just check if the paperwork could be sent hete. Nope, she called Shady Valley to confirm that they do paperwork instead of doing what I asked. So, then I go to Shady Valley, and low and behold my paper work was at you guessed it, THIS LOCATION!!!!!!! So, if the young GIRL would have just done her job and looked some stuff up, I would have gotten my paperwork done without having to waste gas. Thankfully, Shady Valley was nice enough to just transfer paperwork to their location for me and I can avoid this one. I’d drive all the way down to Fredericktown to avoid this location too. That CHILD definitely deserves a refresher in customer service and a new training course in her job. I didn’t know it was so hard to click and type a few things in.

IIf I could give no stars I would they are terrible! My grandma who is 85 years old cannot walk cannot do nothing for herself has went through hell every month with these people it’s like they try to keep her money I’ve never seen a bank so ignorant!

I'm unsure why anyone would argue why the customer service is less than 5 stars. My family and I have been with First State Community Bank since 2014. Everyone has always been pleasant and helpful. In 2018 I was even notified that my account was hacked and they were able to stop the fraud before and damage was done. I will never bank anywhere else. Locally owned and operated.

Would be 5 star though, I didn't deal directly with this location and see some not so hot reviews at this spot, so I don't want to offset their honest feedback. Sounds like the workers here need some thank you's, maybe a little over worked, maybe need a little more AC? Maybe not getting enough oxygen w having to wear masks... That's probably what it is. I see it often and experience it myself some too; and my heart goes out to all the people forced to wear masks in order to keep their jobs... Anyways, I dealt with what I believe is their central customer service number, and the lady I spoke with was 5 stars, very nice and upbeat. Thank you.
