We stayed here while visiting family for Christmas. It was a nice comfortable room with a clean bathroom. The breakfast was delicious. The host was nice and friendly. Definitely plan on staying here again next time we are in this area.

My family rented out the entire BNB when we traveled to the area for a wedding. The house was clean and homey. It felt like we had made a trip to grandma’s house, which helped take some of the stress of traveling off us. Miss Patricia was a wonderful host. She made the most delicious breakfast and sweet treats. There was a hot pot of coffee and great conversation waiting for us every morning. We will only stay with Miss Patricia when we visit Missouri from now on!!

Patrica is an excellent host. The room spacious, clean, and the beds were super comfortable. Then she mad an excellent breakfast with plenty of food. Enjoyed a lovely conversation over breakfast. Highly recommend over any hotel in the area!

Patricia's Walnut Acres Bed & Breakfast is a wonderful peaceful place to stay- you have a deck when you walk out of your room, kids have a large yard to run & play in, & big enough for the guys to play catch( which they did) in the back & side of the property is a lil stream, kids have a REAL tire swing, there's a big horse made of tulle that is lit up at night, there's a garden & in the middle of it is different color gem rocks that lite up at night, it looks really pretty. you have your own table & chair on the deck, at the back of the property is a historic cemetery from the 1800's its really neat.We stayed here the weekend of Feb 10th (Friday -Sunday) we was in town for my sons UFC fight. Patricia was a absolute sweetheart from the 1st phone call to make reservations. She knew my son could only eat certain things cause of his fight & she accommodated breakfast for what he could eat & was going to do the same for dinner but he couldn't eat dinner due to weigh in.Breakfast was so good, Patricia made the best HOMEMADE bread we had ever had, she made eggs, bacon, pancakes, oatmeal with berries, 2 different kinds of orange juice , water, milk, another kind of juice. homemade apple butter, warm maple syrup, she had a great setup for breakfast we was very impressed & happy with her cooking.The pictures on the website didn't do the rooms justice at all, I had the largest room & it was decorated beautiful & its was VERY CLEAN.We had a large group of family & friends coming on Saturday before the fight, I asked Patricia in advance if it was ok if the rest family came & hung out before the fight, she didn't have a problem with them coming at all.My soon has another fight coming up in May, & we'll be returning to stay here, we plan on renting out all 3 rooms this time, & staying longer before & after the fight.PATRICA THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID TO ACOMMADATE US & MY SON. We will see you again in May.

Patricia is such an amazing host! She is so kind and considerate, always going the extra mile to ensure that your stay is the very best.My fiancée and I have been staying at Walnut Acres for three years, on our anniversary. The rooms are clean and quaint, and Patricia makes fantastic breakfast the following day, all included in the room price. I have shared my experiences with friends and family, and I know they will be in good hands.I would highly recommend this b and b!

Recommended, Clean and friendly, our host made a world class breakfast for us. A pleasant and safe stay. Place has a great country feel situated on 14 acres. I would definitely stay here again!

Hospitality was great! Home cooked meals twice were delicious. Room was clean and bathroom. Would go back again and stay. Pat was so nice and welcoming. Her bread pudding was one of my husbands favorites. Thank you Pat!

Stayed here five days for a High School class reunion. Wonderful, quiet place. Clean, comfortable, and affordable rooms. Excellent breakfast included. Pat is a wonderful hostess. We'll be back.

My family and I stayed here while attending a wedding for the weekend. Patricia greeted us when we arrived. She cooked delicious breakfast both mornings. The place was very clean and my kids enjoyed going outside and playing on the tire swing. This was a perfect last minute booking and will come back if we are ever in the area again. ?? Side note- the place has been recently updated- ask for pictures if interested!

This is a wonderful place to stay, always clean and Patricia is the best host anyone can ever want. We have stayed here several times when we visit family and recommend it highly. The breakfast is always a great home-cooked meal, with freshly baked goodies every morning!

I had the misfortune of staying here several months ago and while I normally don't bother to leave reviews of negative experiences, I had to make an exception when I overheard someone recommend staying here. The owner (or hopefully she/he/it was just a manager) was obnoxious, knew nothing of customer service and even less of customer retention. And the rudeness and know-it-all attitude was contagious as the few staff members we encountered were argumentative, quick to interject their (incorrect) opinions into private conversations and, along with everything else, the place was dirty and unkempt. Book a night here if you want to hear racist jokes, argue about what color blue is and if you enjoy harsh judgments of any and all decisions made on the premises.
