“Great selection and such helpful friendly staff. Easy street parking in front, as well as a small parking lot in back, make a quick stop so convenient. They always have a kind word for my dog plus a treat, so it is fun to stop by when we are out for a walk. Their wine suggestions are spot on.”

After confirming they had it in stock, the lady working told me she would stick around and wait for me to get up there to buy before she closed the store! “The selection here is good and the prices are reasonable, but what makes the Wine Barrel our favorite wine shop are 1) The awesome Friday night tastings, 2) The very friendly staff and 3) The little bar in front, where you can have a glass of what you just tasted or one of the other excellent choices. We've been here for three of the tastings and honestly, they can't be held responsible for the salesmen hosting the events, but they've all been good. It seems like there are always some fund people there with us for the events and we've had a good time all three times. We'll definitely be back.”

“I want to say THANK YOU!!! I Just left the Dierbergs location in Des Peres and had the BEST customer service EVER!!! I was looking for beef short ribs. I asked the meat counter gentleman. he walked over with me to the place they should have been. there was only 1 pack and I really needed 3-5 pounds. he was nice enough to not only go see if he had any in the freezer but he also cut them and from full ribs. To me this is real customer service! This is just one example on why I drive past 4 other grocery stores to come to this location. THANK YOU for having the BEST employees!!!”

The only downfall is we cannot get into the smart water mobile that was in the back of the store. I like this Dierbergs way better than target. my kids were so excited and thrilled with their trip to Dierbergs and I'm glad they were able to enjoy it. They started jumping up and down when they saw the prime. also, all the workers gave us a 10% off coupon which made our prime drinks cheaper.”

“Keeping in mind that Dierbergs is a little more expensive that it's competitor in the area this store always seems to be clean and well stocked. The employees rate a four out of five, sometimes a three out of find depending on who you have behind the counter and who you get at the cash register. Then again, those are pretty much the only two groups you interact with. The produce is always fresh, the proteins always seemed to be fresh, the deli seems to always be nice. We have an advantage because we live right there pretty much at the corner and it makes Dierbergs a huge convenience. That's about it!”

“I had a problem with an item I purchased at the shanty. It only cost 18$ so I did not expect them to be able to return or exchange a small item like the one I bought. I talked to Jesse on the phone and dealt with Brenda in the store and they were more than helpful. They Determined that it may have been a defective product and they exchanged the item that I bought for no cost. I guarantee there is no other store around that would have done this for me. In the past $18 wouldn’t have mattered to me I probably wouldn’t have even called, but I recently had a child and money is tighter than ever LOL. I appreciate the favor, keep with the good business and I will be back in the future! Thanks girls!”

“I was looking for a specific pickle vodka, Texacraft sour pickle vodka. It's what all the local restaurants use to make their pickle Bloody Mary's. They had it and it was reasonably priced.”
