I have played many small town/country courses and this is hands down the best. The greens and fairways look amazing, and they have this 9 hole set up to play 18 if you like. I walked 9 and really enjoyed playing this course. If you are staying in Hermann definatly hit this course or it is worth a little road trip from neighboring counties.

Lovely little course, very fun for a quick nine holes, extremely reasonable green fees. The lady working in the pro shop was a bit short and wasn't terribly welcoming. That didn't ruin our experience, but definitely was the reason we hurried out when we were done.

The course is in very good shape and is well worth the price. The two issues I had related to each other. I had never played here before and intended to play 18 holes. Upon arriving I asked the lady in the clubhouse which set of tees to hit from the first time around vs the second time. She said in a condescending/rude tone "I don't know. I don't play golf." I get that she may not play golf. I do think that if you are working at the course, you should know the basics of the course you work at such as which tees to hit from if you intend to go around twice. With this in mind, I started my round. Once I was out on the course, I came to the realization that it is poorly marked. A few of the holes have dramatic yardage differences on the first nine vs second nine such as #2 (par 4)/#11 (par 5). Couple this with the fact that the clubhouse attendant was not very polite/helpful it can be a little confusing the first time out. In the end, I would say I enjoyed my round and will be back.

We were there for our grandkids Cross Country meet. The parking was good. We could see the course fairly well, and everyone was friendly. I avoided the port a potty. It didn't smell, though. Nice day for the kids race.

I have played here twice while visiting wine country and have enjoyed it both times. Great little course, fair and well kept. The clubhouse is dated however the people I have met working in the place have been awesome. Worth toting the sticks with you.
