Kade's Playground is a volcano-themed, inclusive playground in William C. Haggard Park. It is a great park for children of all ages and abilities, with fun equipment like slides, swings, a cool volcano thing, and simulated rocks. The layout is pretty good for visibility. It features a unique rubber ground covering and includes adaptive swings and musical instruments. There is a splash pad, or water activities area, described as a great water play area. However, the rocks in this area can be a little dangerous, posing a risk for scratches. Additionally, on very hot days, the playground equipment itself can become dangerous. The splash pad operates on a seasonal schedule and was not functioning during winter visits. The park offers clean male, female, and family restrooms, water fountains, and ample trash cans. There are places for parents to sit, and amenities include a free dog park, a walking trail, and a little water part for kids. A box with diapers and a book exchange box are available. Parking is sufficient for standard vehicles but can be tight for large trucks, RVs, or trailers. Overall, it is a very nice park where kids have a blast, and it is a place families plan to visit regularly.
