Went to the Bommarito Volkswagen dealership this morning with someone to look at vehicles and wound up purchasing one which was not our intent. Our sales lady was named Chris. FYI: I just purchased my vehicle from another dealership and I can say the difference is 100%. I really wish I had purchased from here. Everyone was very friendly and acknowledged our presence upon entering the building. Chris's customer service is impeccable. Chris was very personable, listened to our concerns and worked with us to get us the best deal possible. Her great customer service and expertise is a great asset to this dealership. She kept us within the budget we wanted to spend and answered all our questions. It really helps when someone can make you feel at ease and not make you feel pressured. Chris was very knowledgeable of the vehicle we test drove and I was very impressed with her level of expertise. I would definitely recommend this dealership. Ask for Chris, you won't be disappointed

My husband bought his Volkswagen from this location and they have been nothing but trouble since day one. They tried to screw us over when we originally purchased the car by trying to force us into a payment plan when we were going to pay cash. We eventually worked it out but only after we were about to walk away. He recently took the car in to have work done and after he came home the check engine light came on. The car is not driving properly and The service center said they cannot take the car back until the end of this month. They ruined his car and they will not fix it until it is convenient for them. How is he supposed to drive for 2 weeks with a car that barely runs with a check engine light on? His car was in perfect shape before he brought it there. It really just needed an oil change and filter change. He did this spark plugs because he tries to do the right thing and now we have this garbage to deal with. Don't buy your car from here or take it here for service. Maybe support your local service center, that's what we will be doing from now on

I was interested in buying their 2019 VW Beetle Convertible Final Edition last week, I had been in talks for several days about my 2019 VW Beetle Convertible S as a trade. I had scheduled an appointment for last thursday at 11am to see the Final Edition and for the dealership to look over my trade . I drove for nearly 2 hours to get to my appointment when at 10:35am I receive a call from the salesman that he was sorry that he just learned that someone had put down a deposit on it and was no longer for sale. . I drove home very disappointment by this lack of integrity in JUST FINDING OUT , This week I noticed that the Final Edition was still there and got somewhat confirmation it was still available. I also noticed that the information on the Beetle changed from Final Edition to a S model. The dealer just determined that they were advertising the wrong model for over 70 days. No one contacted me to tell the truth about the situation. Again, a lack of integrity and attention to detail by the dealership . I have now learned to always check the vin info, Carfax could also be wrong .

Tim, the Parts Mgr, went above and beyond! My ID.4 needed a new tire and one was ordered from Bommarito and installed at the mechanic's shop where it had been towed. After struggling for a few weeks with error messages, I took it to a closer dealer and they discovered that the replacement tire was the wrong size. It took several days for the tire to come in so a loaner car was rented. When we explained all of this to Tim, he asked us to send him the paperwork and he'd review with his management. Not only did they cover the costs of the replacement tire, but also the loaner and a small amount extra to cover our trouble. Very pleased that Bommarito made this right!

I WANT TO START OFF BY SAYING THANK THE LORD I AM STILL ALIVE . the first day i drove off the lot i went 30miles on the highway to a family member's house then 30 miles back to a pet store. i walked into the pet store and come out to a car that will not turn on so im just as confused as can be . i called the location and "craig whitfield " (the sales person at the dealership )came out to help . when he arrived after talking we concluded maybe the battery is dead so we lift the hood to see that the negative connection on the battery is BARELY TOUCHING THE BATTERY. i say that to say this . IF YOU DO CHOOSE TO SHOP HERE PLEASE LOOK UNDER THE HOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE YOU MAY NOT BE AS LUCKY. so i purchased a *certified 2022 volkswagen passat with 25k miles . The price of the car was 26,125 which "craig whitefish " said was the lowest they will go so he tell me the car has a warranty still with another once that expires. I think great what a deal. so long story short i take the car to a tint shop and they tell me the car windshield is NOT FACTORY, was installed incorrectly and the card had been repainted badly. (photos below) . i called and asked could a car that was not repaired correctly be a certified vehicle and i was told "NO" which means i was sold a car i was told was "certified with a "120 point inspection" but in-fact is not certifiable. so i go online to the bommarito website and see they have a 1500 mile 30day exchange policy. i would also like to mention when i went to my contract which they give you on a FLASH DRIVE NOT IN PAPER i found a warranty in my contract that was for 3000 extra which i DID NOT ASK FOR .i ONLY ASKED DID I HAVE GAP BECAUSE THATS THE ONLY EXTRA THING I NEEDED NOTHING ELES .. the car had 2 warranty i would not have wanted another or wanted to add 3000 to my finance charge so the finance guy probably adds it and if you dont catch it he just makes a little extra for the dealership. i was in a rush which im sure he counts on to pull his plan off . . also some how you have to get reapproved for another car with a car already on your credit within 30days to take advantage of that 1500 mile 30 day exchange deal) so i ask if i cant get re approved can you AT LEAST FIX THE WINDSHIELD THAT IS INSTALLED INCORRECTLY, check underneath the badly painted panel for more damage and give me a check for 3-4000 because they sold this vehicle as if it has never been in a accident and the value would have been completely different had the car had a accident on the record. (THIS IS BOMMARITO THEY SELL 100 cars a month at least and you cant make a few repairs and spare 3500? goodness how greedy do you need to be . )The car also use to be a rental so i think someone rented the car got in a accident and fixed it a little then took it back . because if you get in a accident in a rental car it will be a insurance claim and it will pop up on a carfax unless you fraudulently fix it yourself and take it back . what hurts the most is " CRAIG whitfiled" CAMe out saying"yea i know how they do us (black peoples) ima take care of you make sure you get a good deal" THEn HAD THE NERVE TO SAY "from a legal standpoint we did nothing wrong" . YEA CRAIG IS JUST A HOUSE MIGGER AND ONLY CARES ABOUT MAKING MASTER HAPPY . Please go to another volkswagen do not go here they are EVIL .

Jeff was great to work with on our Passat repairs. Kept us updated throughout the process. We purchased from Suntrup & will NEVER deal with them again. We'll go to Bommarito in Hazelwood!

The service is great when you're buying , poor service when you need it and you're not buying a vehicle. They practically demand you leave 5 star reviews consistently or else, and you are forced into it I dont mind doing that until when you call your sales guy, email, leave voicemails etc to the finance department about your warranty and they refuse to talk to you. Ive tried for 4 weeks now to get ahold of someone and no one responds, i tried reaching out on fb posts they posted and they deleted my comments.

CRAIG was so nice from the get go! I walked into the dealership with specific requirements and a price range I wanted to stay in. Craig did not try to sell me anything extra. He was very patient with my husband and I. He is personable and accommodating. He even came in on his day off so I could see the car for a second time. They gave me a decent trade in value as well. I went with the Taos and LOVE IT! I was also in a time crunch because of work and he got me out of there with in two hours.

Purchased a CPO 2022 VW Jetta from Sean Trapp. He was great to work with. Listened to what we wanted and took us several test drives-patiently. We called several other dealerships and had a hard time finding used or new cars in our price range to even test drive. We were able to purchase a car with low mileage with great features and received a more than fair trade in price for our vehicle. Sean was great to work with and the finance manager Kevin Jackson made the experience experience even better. Thanks guys!

I took my car in it took a week to find out what was wrong. I paid $2100 to get it fixed. Six months later the same thing breaks down. Got a new diagnostic on my car. Showing the same items I just paid to get fixed. Call bommarito have to wait 3 weeks and pay 211 for diagnostic again. I'm so disappointed, in the customer service largest dealership in STL offers.

I had a great, no pressure sales experience with Christopher. He made everything easy and was very attentive to all requests. The special edition GTI they had was also fairly priced. Highly recommend if you are considering a VW.

Best dealer experience we have had to date. Very friendly and fast. We were in and out within about an hour and that including waiting on finance to finish up with another customer. We did have a problem with a CEL which returned a code for a bad pump #3. We drove over 4 hours to get it checked and they bled the system and said it was likely air. It came on again and we had to drive another 4 hours. Same code but they changed the pump this time. My only complaint is they should have just replaced the pump the first time. Despite excessive driving to vet it resolved this has still been a great experience.

Was awesome attentive and even moved over to a different location to expedite my deal so I didn't have to wait great experience great deal will come back and would tell anyone else to come see the guys at bommarito vw.......Ok up date on my experience after 2 weeks of having my car the clutch went out now sence its a mini and not a vw they are sending it to mini to get it checked out communication on this portion has been lacking. I don't have a vehicle to get to work and this is starting to effect life I get that your mechanic can't fix it but it hasn't moved sence friday and an update on weather or not I'm going to get stuck with a bill on a car I haven't even made a payment on yet and be screwed out of money and time and a vehicle all together it would just be nice to get some kind of info I get that u made the sale and now I don't matter but I expected mor from bommarito.ok update number 2 they took it to mini to get it check and came back and said I was responsible because the clutch flywheel and clutch fork were all burnt out I'm sorry but any mechan can tell you that kind of damage isn't going to happen in less than 400 miles unless you are abusing it at a track or something yes I'm a male I'm 38 not 16 and I'm a professional driver that's what I do for a living I needed this to get to and from work not as a toy I'm going to treat it right I really liked this car too but I was under the impression the clutch was new and disregarded the smell I think this dealer ship knew and sold the car anyway and when it broke quicker than they thought now they are just waiting me out dodging my calls and trying to wait tell I go away really bad business didn't expect this from bommarito they have always treated me right but now I'll be going to a different dealer for a new or used car not just bommarito vw don't do business with any of them because if they allow them to treat people this way they allow all of them to do this to people and its not right and they know it witch is why they are trying to ghost me its just sad really if they wanna man up and do right by me I will change all of my reviews cuz I'm not just putting it here thanks again for making my situation worse than it was when I came to you with a car that was braking down letting you know all the problems it had for you to sell me a car and not disclose the issues or when it got a major one not to do the decent thing and fix it.

I purchased my car new from this dealership and have continued to have the vehicle serviced here as well. I've always had the best of experiences with the staff. They're both honest and thorough. I really don't know what more you can ask for in an auto mechanic. Next vehicle will definitely be a VW and it will definitely be purchased at Bommarito VW.
