In January 2023 I injured the peroneal nerve in my right leg. This is the nerve in your leg that lifts your foot up when walking. I had a hard time walking, going up and down steps and had to sleep in a recliner. Every hour I would have to get up because of the pain in the nerve from my knee to my foot. I would have to walk around to reduce the pain. I was using some Chiropractic treatments on the area but the pain kept getting worse. In April I saw a neurologist at the Hannibal Clinic for a nerve conduction test that demonstrated a 50% loss of nerve function in my right leg. He told me that in addition to the Chiropractic care that physical therapy would be very beneficial for this type of problem. I asked some of my patients who had received physical therapy which of the clinics in the area they would choose for my nerve injury. Most patients said they liked First Choice Physical Therapy in Huck Finn shopping center because they are focused on you while your getting the therapy and not several others at the same time.I started getting PT care from Alisha at First Choice in May of 2023. Over the next months the function of my foot and leg gradually improved and I was having less pain at night. In August of 2023 my pain at night was less enough that I could finally sleep in bed. I was only having pain a couple times a night. Alisha released me from care at the end of December. I am grateful for the care I received at First Choice to get complete function back in my leg.Any time a patient needs PT I recommend First Choice.Dr. Mike Murphy DC

I needed help recovering from a recent and previous sports injury involving my knee. Joe mixed up the routine till we found some key areas to focus on that generated results. This lead to a speedy recovery and increased my mobility back to where I can enjoy playing with my toddler on my knees and the sports I love again. Thanks Joe and First Choice!

It was a total shock to find myself actually needing therapy! The learning curve has come complete with several questions answered. Shoulder injuries OFTEN require patience as well as therapy. No, the sound I hear is not that of bones clicking together. (Yay!) No, the new curvature of this arm is not permanent.You will also meet folks who wisely sought help from those with more knowledge about how to move safely and with less difficulty.It's been a thoroughly positive and productive experience! Thanks to the entire staff!

I highly recommend the physical therapists at First Choice! Alissa was so friendly and caring as she guided me through my therapy after my total knee replacement, and I was able to complete my therapy and return to almost normal activities in just 6 weeks! If I ever have to have therapy again, I would certainly return! Thanks First Choice!

This place has very friendly receptionist. The therapists are knowledgeable, friendly, listen to their clients needs , and taylor treatment so that the pain issue is resolved once treatment is over. Best experience ever. I would highly recommend this place for physical therapy.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else for physical therapy! Brian and his people are wonderful! He has seen me through two rotator cuff surgeries and a broken wrist! They are professional, knowledgeable and very caring!

Bryan is a very skilled therapist. Took his time with me and was watchful of what I was doing. Everyone told me how horrible shoulder rehab is so I was dreading it. It hurt for sure but in a good way. I knew he wasn't going to be reckless with me and take me beyond my limit. I'm doing great. It's a very nice atmosphere.
