From the moment we pulled up to Mari’s Bed and Breakfast, we were in love. We were graciously welcomed and given a tour of the house and our room. Each room is warmly decorated with antiques and wherever you look there are treasures to discover. Each morning we were served a wonderful, delicious breakfast, which fueled us for hours as we shopped at MSQC….just a block away! We pulled up, parked our car, and didn’t need to drive anywhere because everything was in walking distance. Mari is lovely and so fun to visit with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mari’s and highly recommend staying there if you’re planning a trip to MSQC.

Our second time staying here, we're already booked for next year!Great food-hospitality-rates- location, super clean. Walking distance to Missouri Star. We have been trying a different room each stay, big room is next.Mari is a wonderful hostess, she made us immediately feel like welcomed family. It's from the early 1900s and that is what adds to it's charm, it's like taking a step back in time with antiques to add to the theme. We didn't need a/c during our stay but we kept it on because it helped us sleep deeper. Beds and pillows are comfy, private bathrooms, good size fridge in the room and microwave/coffee/ homemade cookies available downstairs along with magazines, games and puzzles. They have done wonders with an old charming home.Walkability: Just around the corner from Missouri Star

My sister and I stayed a night on our trek to Kentucky. The rooms were delightfully decorated; the bed was so comfy; the shower in my room with 2 shower heads was refreshing and relaxing; the breakfast was delicious and the conversation was genuine and fun! I plan to stay again!! You need to experience this B&B!!!

Our third stay at Mari’s when visiting Hamilton for a quilt retreat. Mari’s breakfasts are wonderful, the beds are super comfortable and she is very accommodating. We enjoy our stays and will continue to stay with Mari and Ron. She doesn’t currently have Wi-Fi but we haven’t needed it since we can access Wi-Fi at quilting retreat. I highly recommend Mari’s House.

Mari’s House is a short walk to Missouri Star Quilt Company. The owners, Mari and Ron, were very pleasant and accommodating. The house is decorated with vintage furniture and decorations and is very charming. The room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend Mari’s House for your stay.

My daughter and I had a great time staying at Mari’s last week. Mari is such a gracious host and she serves up a terrific breakfast each morning—fresh, hot, and timely. We stayed in the Marguerite room and enjoyed the charming decor, both there and throughout her lovely home. We’ll be back again! Thanks Mari!

The absence of internet and central air is not listed on the webpage. The attempt to create a "vintage inn" is spoiled by the old and outdated furnishings that give a second-hand look rather than vintage. Mattresses were sagging; bath towels overused. Very expensive for the experience.

I give 1 star to the rooms in this house because the furnishings are so old. The furniture in the main room is so dark, it is creepy, as are some of the pictures and dolls. AC is provided by window air conditioners and noisy. House smells moldy. Stairs are narrow and steep. The shower in my room was just large enough to turn around. The half sink is not workable. The shower mat had no thread left to it. The hand soap was clearly watered down. The location is good if you only want to walk to town. Cannot walk to the Dakota retreat center, but shuttle service is excellent. Mary is quite gracious and provided a nice breakfast. Overall, it is beyond me how anyone can give 5 stars to this B&B. There are some lovely, remodeled B&B' s nearby that we heard are very nice and rate five starts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Mari’s. The beds were super comfortable, the accommodations cozy, and the breakfasts delicious! The place, and Mari, are like a warm hug from an old friend.

When you drive up to the front of the B&B it is very welcoming. The front porch is inviting to come and sit on the swing. The inside is clean and charming. Mari is a joy to visit with and the breakfasts are very very yummy. The guest room includes a three- piece bathroom. The bed is comfy.

Wonderful hostess. Nice breakfast. I didn’t ask for seconds as the first serving was sufficient to last a day. It is walking distance to the quilt shops, but take your vehicle, you don’t want to carry all that fabric around.

I’ve stayed in multiple B&B’s in Ireland and Mari’s had just as much charm, hospitality, and comfort as the best ones I’ve been in. I have back problems and the beds were so comfortable, there was no issue. Each bedroom also had it’s own AC unit and mini fridge, which aren’t amenities you always find in B&B’s. There are stairs to climb up to the bedrooms but they are sturdy and in good repair and expected in an older home. As others have said, Mari is an excellent cook and we loved chatting while eating her delicious breakfasts. She is just such a warm and welcoming person that we felt right at home. We can’t wait to come back!

This was the first time I've stayed at a B&B and I was so happy to find Mari's. A beautiful home that has a lot of heart and sole put into it. The rooms, breakfast and conversations make this an all around great place to stay! I will return. :-) it is walking distance to the main hub of the town, MSQC!
