Barrigas is a great local spot for delicious Mexican food. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is a pretty basic small midwestern town Mexican restaurant, and the service is pretty good. The prices are reasonable. My family and I have frequented this place for years.

There are so many Mexican joints, same 9 ingredients and same chips and salsa...and the "never the same" refried beans.Barrigas is different, fresh quality plates, real, thick queso blanco, refried & black beans with full flavor, hand made margaritas with actual tequila in them, and friendly family-style service...Go to Greenwood, MO. 150 highway for a authentic Mexican dinner.Vegetarian options: 6 vegetarian menu items that are very good...

1st we tried this place. Service was a little slow, but only because it was lunch time and only 1 server. Food was great. Margarita we had we good as well. Will visit again for sure.
