Definitely had confusion going on I feel on purpose using different systems that wasn't working then acting like I wasn't working out and not treated fairly, and the managers sister telling an offensive joke involving a black cat I felt it was offend me as an African American. Although she said it was a "joke". The person training me had 7 keys missing her pointer scrolling down every time you scrolled up they kept adding a different conflicting step when trying to learn and 2 people working different, but I still liked what I did but the way they tried. To devastate me and let me go then the manager locking the door when she knew I was coming back to get the rest of my things because she was trying to provoke me was unnecessary and trying to rush me out when I was leaving. I thought it was weird she was sitting away from me not really asking me hardly interview questions but asked do I need a job with longevity then I hardly saw or talked to her until I was called in the office and she asked me how things were going i said okay but I am being told different things she stated that's what i heard and said they will be training on a new system and I won't work out already had my check ready to say final day after birthday after not barely being there 3 weeks. I was told they review your work after six months which made no sense when I was hired, as it definitely felt like a humiliation ritual at them letting me go and only one other African American person works in the office part. I over heard them saying someone that was there 8 years messed up an order also someone calling me about why an order never shipped but the order had just came to my work list weeks later , even though I said I was new and would look into it the person talking to me still in a rude way, the while job was weird despite me trying to do things accurately and in order it felt as if I was being sabotaged with them using old system then new it not working then back to old system and some orders still not going through, Also if someone has a headache and sore throat they shouldn't be standing over you talking without a mask and touching your laptop. I showed up and still tried and did my job but it felt like they didn't like that. We are using new systems so it may be too much or something to that degree is why I was let go , but whole time they had purpose confusion you had to check on and order and make sure it wasn't being worked on due to double orders occurring....smh why would they design a system that seems purposely dysfunctional in my opinion.

Be very careful about what you buy here. Some items can not be returned (subject to what the assistant manager feels like). The cashier that rang up my initial purchase did not say they were non refundable, and the same cashier today had no idea that they couldn't be returned. So the employees don't even know what can returned or not... pretty frustrating especially when the item is in perfect condition and never been opened. I'll purchase online next time (cheaper, free shipping, and returnable).

My niece order items so that her 8 year old son could be taught at home. She never received the package. They said it was delivered to the front porch..Mind you we have camera all around the house. It was not delivered UPS NOR WILL THE USPS ADMIT THEY LOST THE PACKAGE and USPS never showed the tracking number on my informed delivery. I HAVE ALL MY PROOF THAT SHOULD BE NEEDED. My suggestion: don't use them they don't honor never received packages.

US Toy is a whole lot of fun! US Toy boasts an impressive inventory of games, toys, trinkets, art supplies, and oh soooo much more. I love ducking into US Toy on my way to a birthday party to fetch a gift. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you, US Toy, for making my gift buying easy!

Kind of not diggin the new location and the coupon online apparently expired in 2015 that was on yelp but you couldn't see that so of course they didn't honor it. They do still have loads of cool things and added popcorn and ice cream so that's fun.

Fantastic play for teachers of course, but as a play therapist I find US Toy to be a goldmine when visiting!!! Must go to every time I visit Kansas City!!!

U. S. Toy is the best!! I needed an item for a parade at the last minute. The item was not in the store, it was at the warehouse. Guess what, the owner of U. S. Toy made it happen!!! Everyone in the organization made me feel that solving my problem was very important to them. I will never forget that positive experience and will remain a lifetime customer. I encourage others, especially fellow educators and HBCU graduates, to patronize this business.

I purchased over $400 of toys for my business and they were delivered to me on 12-27-18. Due to the holidays and I was out of the office for 3 weeks, I did not have a chance to unpack until 1-18-19. I found that the 14 dozens of the 'Jumbo Sticky Animals' toy I purchased were defected. The toys were individually wrapped and came in a big bag of a dozen. Before opening the bag, I noticed the labels were moisten and wet. The picture shows all the labels are wet except for one--the one that is somewhat white is the dry one. I opened a bag and surely, all the individually warped toys were covered with a thick layer of grease. I place them on a piece of paper and you can see the grease stain on the paper. I call customer service and talked to the supervisor Sharon (x2342). She told me that because these toys has been discontinued and therefore, I can not return nor get a refund. I told her that I received these on12-27-18(signed for UPS delivery) which is less than 30 days ago, hence, I should be able to return them. She again stated that because they are not carrying these toys anymore and basically I am stuck with them. I cannot believe that they would sell hazardous toys like these to consumers and not responsible for it. I have sent an email with pictures to
[email protected] and lets hope that they will do the right thing. If I don't here from them, I will contact my credit card company to dispute the charges.

Omg. When you first walk in you can see the rows and rows and rows of what you can only assume is a jumbled party store he'll BUT THAT IS NOT THE CASE! My husband and I can with both kiddos to plan their birthday parties. A 3 year old dinosaur party and a first birthday unicorn sparkle bonanza. Not only did they have everything we imagined, but everyone was so unbelievably organized. I'm talking not a single item out of place! The goody bag items were separated by theme and so was paper supplies, gifts, and balloons. They had an amazing selection of items and the staff was easy to find and full of knowledge for all of my questions. The prices were incredible comparable! Brand name toys (ex Melissa and Doug) we're priced the same as most retailers while paper goods and especially good bag items were way lower than I expected to see. They had great rewards programs too! Separate ones for kids, parents, and TEACHERS! I plan on coming back for every party I ever through for the rest of my life. Which is an insane amount of parties, but it really is that good.

This is a great place for organizing parties or school events! I'm a student and I am organizing a Multicultural event for my school and found a lot of stuff like raffle tickets and tri folds but, there isn't much stuff like prizes that appeal to middle school kids.

A while ago I needed a lot of makeup for a theater production, and one of the managers worked everything out for me, even gave me her hours and business card. I have worked with her every year since, and it's always a pleasant experience. This store is an amazing resource, unlike anything else in KC, for party stuff, education resources, costumes, and even art supplies. Thanks for being a great part of out town!
