Listen....I understand this can potentially be a thankless job, HOWEVER, basic fundamental customer service is severely lacking at this location. Walking in and being greeted with an attitude/anger/frustration, before I've even said a word...yeah, I'm pretty sure that doesn't represent the UPS brand. It seem a lack of leadership or something that is effecting the staff.

The staff is great. They are polite and very efficient. I hardly ever have to wait. They great you when you enter. The prices are also great. Love UPS

Wish the location set further back from Main road since the post office is right across from it. When traffic is busy it's a little irritating to get in the parking lot to park. Other than that pretty good service.

Edit/response to owner: looking closely at the other reviews listed here, your store does not provide world-class service. Additionally, I understood you couldn't assist, but the way this fact was conveyed created a horrible experience for me, the customer. Say what you will but this store's paltry rating speaks for itself. Your ability to manage customers and employees in a healthy way will affect your profits, rest-assured. Enjoy that chat with corporate and your area manager, dear franchise owner.Unfortunately, I wasn't given the opportunity to take advantage of this UPS' franchise service because of the incredible rudeness of the owner. I attempted to ship a sound system using the UPS account of the buyer. Instead of the manager, who spoke up, advising that ' unfortunately, as a franchise, we're not able to use 3rd party payment accounts," they scoffed and smugly advised that we were in the wrong place and help would not be received here. After advising that I didn't understand the distinction, the manager advised that he'd" slow it down for me" and then spoke very loudly, repeating his exact phrasing, the phrasing I clearly didn't understand. I'm shocked that a franchise owner of TWO STORES would have such blatant disregard for basic customer service. I was absolutely floored. I can understand if you urgently need to ship something using this UPS store that's conveniently located in downtown Grandview, but unless you wish to be painted as an inconvenience or treated with only an iota of respect, the downtown UPS franchise store is not the place.

I was extremely impressed with the owner (on the phone) and Mecca (in person). I had a time- sensitive matter and called with questions to see if they were able to assist. The owner made it a point to provide who could assist me (Mecca) and made special arrangements to help get the job completed timely. I found the whole experience to be highly professional with excellent customer service. I highly recommend this location. THANK YOU!!

The location seems to have service issues. While I personally have not had issues I have been in the store while people had issues. Tom and the staff are general cordial with me.The flooring is wearing out and needs replaced.

I walked in with a truck wheel that I was returning for warranty (it was already in a box, and I had a shipping label already printed). Not the lightest package. The workers were all tied up, so I just set it down and was planning to wait. A really nice lady came out of the back and immediately came over to help me. She scanned the label, handed me a receipt, and said, "You're all set, have a nice day!" and I walked out. It was so fast, I couldn't believe it. I think I was in the store for less than 60 seconds. Wish all the UPS stores were as efficient as this one is!

I came in 10 min to closing and I received great service. Usually this is when it’s the worst. Josh was busy,. He acknowledged me, helped a customer and was equally nice to her as me. Thank you.

This UPS store is closest to our house. It is fine.It smells a little musty inside. The staff is not very helpful or very cordial. But they get the job done.Nothing spectacular here, but it is what it is. They get stuff from point A to point B.

I came in with several bulky pieces of office equipment to ship and Mecca was a huge help. She took the extra time to make sure everything was secure and found the perfect sized box for it all. She even apologized for making me wait, which was not necessary at all. I knew going in that it would probably take a few minutes to pack it all up, and was not in any rush.Mecca and Whitney handled multiple customers with ease and helped each other out to make sure no one was waiting on them. Whitney also handled herself well when one customer started getting pushy and frustrated because of a problem that wasn't either of the employees' fault. Super efficient, friendly, and helpful all around!

Small business owner and frequent UPSer, this is hands down the worst location in Kansas City. Everyone here has an attitude, rude and no help. To my knowledge this is the only location that charges you for tape ??♂️??♂️ Owners, get new management/employees I’ll drive to UPS in the plaza or Belton before I come here.

Called the number for a package, I had the wrong number. He hung up in my face and stated it was the wrong number. For one your suppose to brand your call before you hang up the phone and ask the customer is there anything else you can assist them with. Tom is rude and doesn’t need to work up there. He disrespect me again, im coming up there old white man
