I have to start that we have used GAH for many years and they provide great service. The one star? A miscommunication between the office and medical team left us without our puppy's remains after cremation. Was told it cost an extra $200+ to get the remains back on top of the $100 for the cremation. I kind of assumed one would get the ashes back from any kind of service. We weren't charged for the cremation, but not getting anything back or being informed a "simple cremation" did not include the return of the ashes is heartbreaking. Their lack of communication costs us the opportunity to have our own service and spreading of the ashes. We will still use them, and I give them 5 stars for their medical expertise. The one star comes from grief and disbelief.

We bring our Basset Hound puppy, Archie to see Dr Hamilton. we previously brought George and he absolutely loved everyone there.I've always found their care to be top-notch. They really care about pets and pet owners, and in my experience always go the extra mile to ensure medical safety and pet own satisfaction. Their great reputation is well deserved.

I cannot express enough the overwhelming warmth and compassion the staff at Grandview Animal Hospital demonstrated this week when we had to put our beloved Westie, Bubbles to sleep. Dr. Hamilton and the rest of the staff portrayed the utmost sympathy to us as we cried and held her. To then receive a card of sympathy signed by them a few days later with Bubbles paws printed on a card was more than we expected. We have gone their for years and so highly recommend their services, expertise and beyond.

Always very attentive to my girl. I didnt realize just how poorly we had been cared for before I started taking her here. They really care to give us the best care, and also are up front about prices.

All of the staff is polite and caring and I never had issues making or rescheduling appointments. Dr. Snyder in particular is so attentive and thorough making pet parents feel comfortable and know their animals are safe. My dogs were in great hands for the years we lived in Kansas City!!

this review concerns the rehab center they run next door to the hospital. My general complaint is that the money spent is not worth the outcome. I bought into the 10 visit package at $630 for 10 visits. Had already paid for the first $70 visit plus some suplements , all in all almost $900. anyway the result was minimal. they were almost too careful with my dog as far as getting her to do the exercises. they even admitted the first 3 or 4 visits didn't accomplish anything because my dog was not cooperating. I can understand that to a point but I felt they should have given me some extra time since they knew she wasn't responding. Plus the vet (who gave a through assessment of her condition at first) never gave any follow up advice or contact info . I thought that was wrong.

I was looking for a place in the area to take my doggie to get his check up and stumbled upon Grandview Animal Hospital. My fur baby is a bit skittish and cowers at most things. The staff there made me and Donovan feel welcome and at ease. We got his shots taken care off and they even put his tags on his collar for me. I think we've found Donovan's PCP.
