Both the Pharmacy and store staff have been cordial and helpful in assisting me in finding items I needed, sometimes explaining options for products. The pharmacy department staff are always helpful and it’s really nice that the Pharmacist is very helpful in explaining side effects of a prescription. I really like my CVS.

The worst experience ever their portal ordered my refill and it was from last years dosage and they would not even take responsibility . My doctor was able to talk to my insurance and get me a new prescription but they wouldn't even let me talk to the manager . Talked to 3 different pharmacist and gave me the runaround till I just gave up . Looking for a different pharmacy after they messed my meds more than once and didn't take responsibility. They wanted me to pay the copay for 3 months after I had paid for copay for their mid up they don't even look at the prescription or actually acknowledge you .

Do not use the Grandview CVS pharmacy. My insurance requires me to use CVS. It took 7 days to transfer my prescriptions and they now cost me more. Only had 2 employees behind the pharmacy counter and several people in line. I left CVS years ago for prescriptions being filled incorrectly and high prices. I only left 1 star because it wouldn’t let me post if I didn’t. Should be Zero stars.
The saga continues. Out of the four prescriptions only 3 were correct. When I picked them up I confirmed all were for 90 days. One was not. When I went back they tried to tell me I didn’t have insurance even though the other 3 were filled on my insurance. They agreed to fix it. Didn’t have time to wait on them so I went back later. When I went back they tried to blame it on my doctor. I can’t believe it was on my doctor considering my last appointment we talked about the insurance required 90 day scrips. Why would the doctor do only 3 as 90 day. At least I have 90 days to find another but from what I’m hearing none of the CVS are any good.

They never answer their phone, the drive through is closed over half the time and they never have a prescription ready the same day unless you DRIVE up and have them expedite it and wait 20 minutes because, again, they don't answer the phone. The store looks like a poorly maintained ghost town and the parking lot might actually damage your car with the size and amount of pot holes. I cant express enough to choose somewhere...anywhere else to go for medication. Obviously this the fault of the higher up and not the poor limited staff. If you have stock in cvs I'd consider moving it because this place is going downhill fast.

Beware of this pharmacy if you have Medicaid and/or Medicare. My husband has been out of his diabetic testing strips that he needs to check is blood sugar for his MEDICAL condition. For MONTHS he has tried to get them and they refuse to run it through the proper channel to get it covered. Instead they are too worried about making the $200 and NOT HELPING.
Also, dont let your doctor call up there anything, they got mad at husband and told him that is not allowed and they couldnt fill the script because the doctor called up to give them the code they were needing...
DO NOT USE!

Sat 2nd in line at the drive through for 30 minutes. Ended up pivoting into the drop off lane (did not know that’s what that was).
Finally the pharmacist asked me if I was here to drop off, I said no, picking up. She said that’s the drop off lane and hung up. Mind you she could have told me that at any point I was sitting there but never once reached out until the other customer was gone.
There were now 3 more cars in the pick up lane and another behind me who had pivoted to the drop off as well. I asked her since I’d been waiting a half hour, if she could help me. I had nothing to pay, just picking up. She never responded to anything I said. So I went inside. I had gone to the second lane the last time I was there and they were kind and never told me that was the drop off lane.
Switching pharmacies immediately. This was ridiculous.

I just stopped by despite being unable to reach anyone to ask if the drive thru is open. I was pleasantly surprised to find it is. And the team member was amazing! Alecia greeted me the moment I pulled up, got my rxs in no more than 2 minutes, and brought an issue to my attention (the Dr had sent in 2 refills in different dosages). She took ownership of the problem and listened to my response! I've had mixed experiences here but appreciated Alecia's customer service so much that I will 100% be back. If you've given up on this location, you might want to give it another chance. Ask for Alecia!

My experience was good with CVS pharmacy. My prescriptions were available on the date promised. The pharmacist and staff were nice and professional. They took time out to answer my questions. I had a positive interactions with my CVS pharmacy.

Have had to have my doctor and/or insurance themselves call and insist I am covered for certain prescriptions for whichever reason. Calling myself typically gets ya no where, they will insist they are doing what they are supposed to (even if prescribers and insurance assures me they are not) but showing up and kind of just being in front of em seems to get things sorted, even if I've had to physically give them my phone with insurance on the phone. The staff is pretty friendly even if I'd had to show them I am correct various times because they told me I wasn't covered or had to call or show up to keep on em to fill my prescriptions in a timely manner. I haven't not been covered yet. I will say I feel it's the company itself's way of operating significantly more than the staff themselves. They are always understaffed (understandable atm) and their automated systems are not productive. If you are in the area and on disability, live with a chronic health condition, or something along those lines, I'd recommend elsewhere, however they are probably fine for the average person who doesn't mind waiting a bit longer. Still better than Walgreens on 71 in Grandview in my experiences.

You all need to hire help 71 hey Grandview mo. Drive thru closed I will be taking my prescription back to Walgreens. Covid is still real and you close the drive thru now we come in and everyone is waiting. Sad thing they never have it ready. So very disappointed in this store been going here over 20 years
