It was expensive yet no one at front desk at all times I went by. The room someone came beating my door at midnight. Then next around noon someone else came to room wanting to know how long I had been there then when my son showed up he said room.smelled like.pot and save.had bogs of pot in it. He flused it down the toilet. Not a very good place to stay and did not feel safe.

I had got a run down room, the hair dryer didn't work, the TV didn't work, the air conditioner really didn't cool the room as it should have, and there was some electrical wires showing in the bathroom due to not being covered up from whatever repair (dangerous, a kid could have stuck his finger in the hole and even hurt himself). I was also warned by some neighbors that the man that runs this hotel is a big creep! I was warned that there is a hallway in between the walls and the man likes to watch people in the rooms! BEWARE! I have not heard this once, twice or three times! Been told this a lot by people too! Just wanted to put my faith in humanity and hope all was not true because I was on a budget. Now that I stayed here, I can believe it!Go anywhere but here!

Our air went out at home so we stayed the night here. Big mistake. No ice machine, no breakfast as advertised. Not handicap accessible. There was a broken crack pipe on the ground on the north side. It looks like a homeless shelter. Trash everywhere. I would sleep outside next time before I stayed here.

Zero stars...the worst room I've ever had. Sticky floor from the cleaning ladies cleaning chemicals the day before...sticky even when we left. A grocery bag tied over the smoke alarm. The bottom sheet had been changed but not the top one. And on and on.....

WORST HOTEL KNOWN TO MANfound two bugs in my bed, the room smelled horrible, when i showed the man the picture of the bug he refused to give me a refund after being there for 30 minutes lmaoooo. then he continued to insult me. would never recommend this hotel to anyone ???also the bedding lmfao

I stayed here for about a week on business with my girlfriend and our two dogs. The staff was friendly and helpful offered room service daily, only had one slight problem with the bathroom the manager Ken was fast to fix the issue overall was a very nice stay and the best with location and pricing super local close to anywhere in KC area highly recommend!

We stayed for about a week and they were really welcoming of both us and our dogs.. they made sure we had all that we needed and offered housekeeping everyday!

Don't know who they paid for the positive reviews,,, but don't believe it. Called to make a reservation, didn't even ask for my name, so I had to offer it up to them. The front desk was unorganized, didn't take down any reservation info, so when I arrived, they didn't know if they even had a single room available,, and didn't seem to care. Door to the room looks like someone tried breaking into it multiple times. The room was disgusting. Floor, clearly, hadn't been vacuumed in a while. Didn't take my shoes off. Slept above the covers cause there was a urine smell around the bed. The bathroom was unsafe. The light/fan combo was hanging from the ceiling with only 1 screw holding it up. The shower/tub had no slip proof matt. The shower curtain had mold on the bottom. Place is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

These rooms could use a serious update. The rooms appear clean, but most components need to be updated or replaced. The refrigerator did not appear to be working (properly).

The guy at the front desk didn’t seem to know what he was doing. Our room was unsanitary! Blood stains on the sheets, a blood stained bandaid on the floor, the tub was grimy and the grout on the floor was black! The exhaust fan in the bathroom had an extremely thick layer of dust …. wouldn’t exhaust anything if it tried! The switches throughout the room were nearly black and never seemed to have been cleaned!! This hotel needs condemned!!

We needed a room due to weather where we were headed after the chiefs AFC game. I know America's best isn't the best but I payed 115 for a room which is way to high anyway that the heater hadn't even been turned on in it was freezing not wanting to go back the desk because he were extremely tired after midnight I turned it on and me and my son jumped in our beds to try and stay warm the room warmed some but not very warm at all he had to sleep all night in my 6 layers I had on from the football game and had to put the blankets over me head to stay warm the heater never stopped running so I know the room never reached temperature. That morning there was no way I was going to shower because the room was so cold but I thought I would at least wash my face guess what no hot water in the sink after it was left to run so I thought well maybe the shower would have warm water no it didn't either. The toilet also wouldn't flush ran all night. Do not stay here this was room 130. I told the front desk about our awful stay when we checked out that morning and all I got was a sorry. Some of my money back for the overpriced room would have been nice that had no heat. She said she would have someone get with me it's been almost a week now and I haven't heard a thing. It wasn't the cleanest either.

First room was trash. Used wet wipes in the drawer, weird tools on the floor, used soap in the shower, sketchy people outside staring at my family walking in, the bed spreads had some stuff splattered on them, the lock for the door was broken, and the bed spreads were ripped up. We got a second room and it wasn’t any better. The smoke alarm is in the dresser, the toilet seat is on the floor, the floors aren’t swept, there is a hole in the wall, the outlets had no covers on them, the beds were basically on the ground, the curtains are falling down, and wires were coming out of the ceiling. This is my first time in the state and it is sad that this is the impression that I get. I did not end up staying here, I stayed with my cousins instead.

Just needed a bed for the night. Front desk was friendly and helpful. They are working on upgrading, so I would recommend this as a cheap one night stay. I really liked how they ditched the carpet and went for linoleum. It looks and smells good. Hot water was there but comes and goes. We've had this problem in more expensive hotels. If you are far from the front, then it takes awhile. New TV and furniture. Quiet for being on the highway.

This facility should be renamed America’s Worst Value Inn.My husband have crisscrossed the the USA for over 55 years. This hotel/motel was the worst of the worst. I’d be ashamed to claim to be the owner.First I was provided with someone else’s paperwork. Rec’d additional paperwork with incorrect information on it. For example, “# of guest 4” my husband & I were the only 2 people, who slept in that unkempt bed. We do not use “Mastercard” either!I have pictures of this disgusting establishment, right down to the dead plants in the lobby, and front “landscaping”, Would not have stayed atsuch a place, if I had not been dog tired and no availability at Comfort Inn. It could not have been worse.Surprised Priceline would even suggestit! One positive, or maybe two.We could recharge our phones, and the TV worked.Not good memories of Grain Valley, Mo.but memories all the same!!!!!!!
