Took my truck in having oil on the outside of the motor above the oil pan. With still having a warranty, I figured I would take it in and get the work done to fix the issue. After the tech was done with looking it over. The advisor came and initially said that there was no leak and that the oil was from something previous to this. I brought up that they were the last to touch the truck for a routine oil change. The advisor said after that the tech cleaned off the spot where the oil had been then tried to say that they did see something after blatantly telling me that there was no issue. They then tried to tell me that it was a seep and that it wouldn’t justify covering under the warranty. I then said that I will get a second opinion from which the service advisor said that he thinks I should. On the receipt I got it even states that there is oil found but this is not to be concerned about. Oil belongs in the motor not on the outside. I will continue to do my own maintenance on my vehicles knowing that it will get done right before I bring back to your dealership. By far the worst dealer service around Kansas City. After getting home, come to find out the technician did not clean anything off and apparently lied about actually doing any of the work they said they did.

Very frustrating experience with a 3 week old vehicle. Set up the appointment and when dropping the vehicle off took over an hour due to lack of help. Got a call the next day that the vehicle was ready for pick up and just a few parts needed tighten. While reading the techs description it stated still sever shaking after all inspection was completed. They were going to let me leave with the problem still not being addressed. I was told they ordered parts but no date of when it will be in or when my vehicle will be fixed. Every time I call up to speak with someone I get a voicemail and NEVER get a call back, I have to call back up multiple times to get anyone on the phone. Finally there Is a large scratch on my front bumper that was not there before we brought the vehicle in, once again called about it and was told I would get someone to call back.... that was three days ago....

Gladstone was great to work with. Customer service was impeccable and they were able to get my car in ASAP, due to being out of town. However, after replacing the fuel pump, I was able to make it home but the Jeep broke down the next day. Appreciative for their assistance but 3/5 star due to putting a bandaid over the problem vs entirely fixing.

11/28/2022 we had the brake pads on our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee replaced because we still had the original brakes at 84,000 miles. The technician told us that we didn't need to have the pads replaced because they still had life left in them. We opted to go ahead and have them replaced so we didn't have to worry about it later. On the technicians advice, we also had the rotors resurfaced. We took our Jeep back in on 02/28/2023, with 86,000 miles due to the brakes grinding and making noise when stopping. The technician couldn't find anything wrong after removing everything and examining the pads and rotors. He suggested that if we are still having this issue to wait until October and bring it in to have the pads replaced under warranty. The issue has continued ever since. We took it back in on 10/27/2023 with 91,000 miles and asked them to replace the pads. We got a call that all 4 rotors need to be replaced and the cost will be $500.00. This makes absolutely no sense as nothing was found when we had the Jeep there in February. They supposedly guarantee their work, but not when they resurface rotors, apparently. We declined and told them we would be picking up our vehicle. We have had almost all of the maintenance, and any other work needed, performed at Gladstone Dodge. But this will be the last time we use them for anything. I'm not sure what has happened to them, but their work is not as good as it used to be. We went a couple of weeks ago to test drive a new 2023/2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee because we were thinking of replacing ours, but none of them would start, they all had dead batteries. According to two of the sales people, this has been a problem with most of the vehicles on the lot. Beware if going to Gladstone Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, there is no place to park for service, they may keep your vehicle for multiple days before they get to it, even with an appointment, and they may not honor their own work.#GladstoneDodgeChryslerJeepRam #Shoddywork #Unreliable #BadService.

Short story: Dealership caused 6k worth of damages to my truck. Tried to get out of paying for it and have me use my own insurance. They ended up paying for the damages. However, it was not handled professionally and it took three days for them to cooperate with me. I know they will respond saying they resolved the issue. That is not the point to this review. The point is that they handled this entire situation poorly and it took too much for them to simply take responsibility.Long story: I am going to hit the main points. I am leaving out many details so others can get the point and be able to make an educated decision before taking their expensive vehicles here for service. I took my brand new truck in for warranty work. I got it back with collision damage. The Service Manager was overall rude, dismissive, and accused me of lying. When I called and brought the damages to their attention I asked for them to review all footage of me arriving and which entrance I came into to make it easier because I am 100% certain it was NOT damaged before dropping it off. I was told that they have cams for this very reason and will. After a day of waiting they told me that their cameras "stopped working" and they had zero footage of me coming to the dealership or of my truck for the entire week it was there for service. However the cameras worked to show me leaving with the damage. How ironic. The argument was that there is "no proof" that it was not damaged before arriving at their dealership. Clearly this was a lie to not take responsibility. Also, IF it is true and their cams do not work, that is a HUGE liability as they have very expensive customers vehicles sitting in the back for service and no way to know who is doing what on their property. They tried to force me to get my insurance involved. They dodged my phone calls for a day. After multiple calls they eventually answered saying "Hello Cody, we have caller ID we know its you." The fact they were intentionally ignoring me, and screening my calls is insane. They should have been doing damage control rather they tried to avoid the situation. I had to go in person to get them to take the issue seriously. The GM never responded to me until it was finally resolved for them to pay for the damages. This is not the first customer they have done this to. There is another review about their negligence and not wanting to take responsibility. I have also spoken with someone who stated the EXACT same thing happened with their work truck a while back.

I dropped off my vehicle and 2 days later I called them for an update and was told they lost my contact info and so they hadn't looked at the vehicle. So I gave them my contact info and 3 days later I called again for an update and left a message for the service advisor (Shawn Siegal). When he returned my call he asked for my email address and that was all. So after the weekend I called and spoke to the service advisor and he stated that they hadn't looked at it yet but would get it in that day. So I left them alone for a week and never heard anything. I called and spoke to the service advisor and he told me the problems and told me the repair path. At no point was I ever quoted a price for testing until after they had already performed it, ($255.00). Then when I declined to perform the repair service and arranged to pick it up, when I got to the dealership to pick it up, the service advisor couldn't find my keys or ticket, his desk was disorganized, he was very unprofessional, and then he attempted to charge me for services we never spoke about on the phone ($591.00), and tried to guilt me into paying for it, saying the technician deserves to be paid for all the work he did. The technician does deserve that, but this service advisor doesn't know what professionalism is or good communication. There were gaps in the notes on the final invoice. In closing, I have been an automotive service advisor since 2015 and this level of incompetence would have left me without a job within a week. I don't recommend doing any service at Gladstone Dodge if Shawn Siegal is your service advisor.

My husband and I bought a Jeep Wrangler High Tide from this dealership. Our sales associate was Jake Clark. He was down to earth and easy to work with. They didn’t have the Orange High Tide we wanted but Jake worked to find us one and had it shipped to the dealership. Everyone we dealt with was great and we appreciated the low pressure sales approach.

Purchased my JGC in 2017 and had reliable service until there until management changes began in the fall of 2022. Went in for a a simple oil change and tire rotation only to be pressured to have multiple unnecessary services performed at exorbitant prices. Be very wary of their recommended service schedules and charges. They have lost my trust.

I have been purchasing vehicles since 1997 from Gladstone Dodge. In 2016 I purchased my very first new Jeep from this dealership. This was when I met Dylan Burriss. I was not even shopping for a Jeep. When they did not have the vehicle I was asking about, that was when I was introduced to Jeep by Dylan.I fell in love with the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Jeep quality. Seven years later I was ready for my next new vehicle. I shopped for 3 months, looking at various dealerships and cars. I was ready to go a little smaller. After 7 years I contacted Dylan again and sent him pictures of my interest. I made an appointment. Much to my delight Dylan had selected one of the two vehicles I was interested in for me to test drive. Dylan has a way of knowing what the customer wants and what they will be happy with before he even knows you well.Dylan is a Sales Rep who represents the various brands at Gladstone Dodge very well and looks out for his customer.I am now the delighted owner of my new 2023 Jeep Compass.After 47 years of buying new cars of different brands and from different dealerships, this team of people stand out in all of my experiences as the best of the best. This dealership has evolved to be the best in the industry.

The folks are very nice and great to deal with. It took several time though to establish with them the main reason I was in to get my car looked at. After the first time they didn’t even address the main issue but did do a good job on my oil change. They didn’t reset the oil life and didn’t clean up the car for smudges and such. After establishing that is was not fixed, I believe it was Kassidy, did a great job getting it back in the system to address it.

Brandon, ours sales guy, was great. Personable, patient, and knowledgeable!He knew I needed extra time to learn how to use all the options because I am OLD! He did not rush me. Everyone we worked with was wonderful. A shout out to Andre for helping me get the Jeep app working. Very pleasant purchase process. I highly recommend the Gladstone dealership.

Took truck for an oil/oil filter change, tire rotation(oversized truck tires) and a tailgate recall. Dropped the truck off at 1 o’clock Truck was done by 3:20. Melissa Rodriguez was the service tech that checked me in. She did a great job. Very friendly and courteous, and she kept me informed throughout the process on how long this would take and then called me to let me know and give me an update. Overall a much better experience this time around than in previous services.

They are trying and the new service manager has made dealing with them better. My biggest complaint was they changed out my dealership's (airport Jeep Chrysler Dodge a great dealership) sticker and license plate holder and put on their own sticker without asking me. Was not happy and had them remove their sticker. Have had issues with their lack of service in the past but was forced to go to them one last time. If you have other options I would use your other options.

If you want the poorest version of customer service, a company that will threaten you and infringe on your freedom of speech, well look no further!!! Stay away from Andre Matthews as he might roid rage on you if you execute your freedom of speech. Don't bite on the $699 "powerhouse advantage" ITS MY OPINION that you will get screwed over. Buyers, you have been warned!! ITS MY OPINION that they just take your $699 and use your Jeep Wave oil changes instead of the ones you paid for hoping you won't catch it and that they expire in a year before you notice. I'm a service member and the management threaten to call the local base because I exercised my right to speak on an opinion I had in a cordial manner with people around and they didn't like that. So the management threatened me. They also used this threat so that I wouldn't press charges against Andre Matthews for spitting in my face. Management said to "drop it" or they would call the base lmfao!!! So bring it!! I would love to drop the voice recordings I have along with the videos I have to show who really is in the wrong here but last I checked I can say what I want to whomever I want regardless of what I wear so get that Foster! Now time to report to Jeep HQ!! I dare you to utilize my personal information on file again and watch the law suit I drop on you then!!! You can sit there and say you made things right by giving me a free oil change but I don't trust you Gladstone Dodge bcuz you already proved how to ruin that trust. I will let Jeep HQ deal with you and deal with your threats because they allllll were recorded!!!
