“Nice clean store, with great employees. Only complaint would be that you never know if it will be open or closed. Went here on Sunday at 2:00 pm and it was closed. Had to go to another location at 45th and Metropolitan, and that was a bad experience. Employees with bad attitudes there.”

“This store is so much cleaner, brighter and organized than any Dollar General in the Northland. The merchandise selection is better and I would argue the quality is better. Pricing is fair. I've given up on DG (for many reasons) and plan to only shop at Family Dollars going forward.”

My kids call this the BIG Dollar Store and the LOVE it.This location has a wide selection and excellent stock. “6244 n chatham ave kcmo 64151 is crowded full of Carts I complained to no avail You need to Remodel this store one check out it's outdated coolers have every thing merchandise ect stacked on top of them that's not safe looks like a thrift store Staff is very beligerant I tried to tell the stock boy his carts are messy don't throw stuff every where there are children He Scoffed at my criticism Oh well I've given my review The rest is up to you”

“I used to frequent this Dollar General nearly everyday, often times I didn't even have any money, and yet despite this the employees that work here on afternoons treated me with a hospitality that I haven't experienced at most other places. The employees are incredibly kind & patient and know exactly how to treat someone how they want to be treated, and honestly I can't thank them enough for always being able to tolerate me. ?”

“This place is very convenient for me because it's close to my apartment but the staff needs to work on getting the boxes out of the aisle. Every week, the shelves have to be restocked but the boxes stays in the aisles for a long period of time.”

“This store was great to shop in. It was clean the aisles were clear and everything on the shelves was pulled forward to where I could actually shop. This is coming from a person who is in a wheelchair. It's hard to shop some places or even get down the aisle. Kuddos to the manager who greeted me and helped with the doors and having such a clean store.”

“My daughter went into this store to get some snacks. She thought she had more money on her card than she did. When she got to the register is when she realized she didn't have enough. The cashier was so nice to her and paid for her stuff. I wish I knew her name but I don't. I think that was so nice of her. All the workers there are always so nice. Love this location”

“I recently went to Dollar General over on Truman and Hardesty in Kansas City Missouri and I found they had upgraded the store immensely. it was clean, the staff was absolutely wonderful, very helpful, very nice cava and pleasant. all I can say is it did 180% turn around for what it was a year ago. it's a must visit store now. they actually have vegetables fresh and a whole aisle I'm groceries like you would normally find in a regular grocery store considering it being a little convenience store. it was very nice to see these changes. And also the staff we're very helpful. the prices are still good. I found the store to be cleaned and not very busy. it was Daddy parking was okay I would just say that if you haven't been to the new Dollar General store since they upgraded it you must go. that's my opinion. I had no problems there at all. It was an easy in and out experience for me.”

Google maps has been taking me to any empty filds recently instead of DG, so beware lolUpdate Google maps should no longer be taking you to the empty field and I still love this store. The staff is great! It's typically always the same people working and they are so very helpful considering the rude people that they have to deal with sometimes”
