I reserved a Ford Focus "or similar" from Budget and instead received a Chevy Tahoe. I did not want or need this large of a vehicle as the gas mileage is not as good. They said it was the only car they had available. If that's the case, then I shouldn't have been able to rent a vehicle similar to a Ford Focus. They tried to make it seem like it was a good deal because it was a "free upgrade" but really, it was just more money I was having to pay for gas.

Very unprofessional team including the so called manager. Avis need to find another vendor to run this location. There were 5 customers ahead of me and none of them were happy. If you don’t wanna take my word send your corporate managers and have them rent from this location and let them feel the experience.

24967110US0 Was my reservation number I prepaid and was refused service once I arrived due to paying with a debit card and still got charged the day after. After having a customer service rep argue with me about wanting to speak with a manager I was finally transferred to billing where once I explained I wanted an expedited refund she hung up on me. I am out the money for the rental this weekend I am out of town with my family of 5 being told I have to wait 3-10 business days for a refund you didn’t wait 3-10 business days to take my money out which I was refused service for. My case has been escalated by victor the only nice person I spoke with but it sounds like I will not get the solution I want which is a simple immediate refund. I am out the money you charged me which I already put toward my trip so now I will have to receive fees from the bank for my family to make it back home. So put simply due to an internal communication error where your website allows charging of debit cards and your local branches do not allow vehicles to be rented with only a debit card I am out the money for the rental and all the fees I will rack up until my next check. All of this can be avoided by either not allowing debit card check outs online period or just have some communication and don’t allow debit card check outs at branches where it’s not allowed.

Had to select a star, but truly this place deserved no stars. Made a prepaid reservation day before reserved time. Once at facility was informed they did not have "debit-friendly" rental cars.

I had to take my car to the shop so I used my Costco benefits to find a rental car near where I lived and the cheapest I found was budget. About an hour after I rented it online I received a phone call from a the rental location, Jennifer who asked me to bring my Costco membership card in with me and she also stated that because of the lack of vehicles at rental companies that I could get anything from an economy (which I reserved) to an SUV for the same price it was basically going to be a crapshoot. I went into the location on time and Jennifer add a Tesla model 3 waiting for me. Jennifer answered all my questions. I basically got a high-performance car for an economy price and couldn’t of been happier.

I pre-paid for a mystery car online on 6/13/2022. It was for same day pickup. The "mystery vehicle" turned out to be a cargo van, which was annoying, but I was going to make it work. When I arrived at the selected time for pickup, I give the woman, with glasses, blonde hair, and tattoos on her arms, my state ID & the credit card I had already PREPAID with. For some reason, she had to run my card a second time when I got there and it was declined, despite having been charged for the prepaid reservation. She told me she couldn't rerun my card. Then she stated that she could use another credit card, or my debit card with a utility bill. I only had one credit card and, obviously, I was in need of a car so I had been dropped off at this location. I don't know about you, but I certainly don't carry my utility bills with me everywhere I go. Already having a terrible day due to my car being broken down, YOUR EMPLOYEE did absolutely NOTHING to remedy the situation. She told me to just call the 1-800 number and tell them that they didn't have a car for me and I'd get a full refund. This was a lie because they had a car for me, but she couldn't rerun my credit card to release the vehicle to me???Honestly, y'all could save some serious money by staffing that location with kiosks because she provided about as much help as a kiosk would have. Instead of her calling corporate to figure it out, or doing anything at all, she left me to call your customer service line and be placed on a long hold only for the office to close while I was standing in it, forcing me to leave without the vehicle I had reserved. I don't understand why you even have actual people working there if their hands are tied when it comes to modifying reservations or doing absolutely anything other than cancelling my reservation???Not that it matters, but I will NEVER rent a car from Budget again and I will NEVER recommend Budget as a company worth renting from. The very least your staff could've done was PRETEND to attempt to remedy the issue, but I didn't even get that from her.

The quality of these trucks is completely unacceptable! Almost 200,000 miles with a caution light on. Probably better to pay the extra money for Uhaul

Easy check in and check out process. I reserved online and had no issues, even received a reminder call from Jennifer two days before my pickup date. Will use them again.

We were so happy with our service here. I had reserved a car from this location through AAA’s concierge services. We arrived to pick up our car when Budget opened and were helped immediately by the person working. We had reserved a sedan but when we arrived they said we could actually rent an SUV for only $15 more which we were thrilled about. They even let us go look at the two available SUV’s and pick which one we liked best. All in all, we were in and out within 10 minutes. Very impressed!

Absolutely horrible experience. They let you make a reservation even if they have no vehicles available and then do nothing to assist in any way shape or form, just tell you good luck.Barbara at the desk was absolutely awful to deal with as well. Would not assist in any way and stated this happens dozens of times and no one does anything about it. Asked why I didn’t receive a call about them running out of vehicles and said it’s not her problem.

I rented a van took a vacation with my family for a week we wiped down the seats and there was minimal activity on the floor the guy at the Budget rental counter asked me we had a dog cuz there was hairs on the floor, so he charges me a $25 cleaning fee. There were absolutely no hairs on the floor unless you work for CSI or something. In the end the cars you get from rental agencies are all going to be the same the only differences would be the customer service you get. These guys are pretty much going to stick you with a $25 cleaning fee as a backdoor way to extort money out of you no matter what. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth. So just beware. There's an Enterprise right up the street and they have never done that to me.

The customer service rep Jase was difficult at least. Also on carrentals.com there was no mention of not being able to use a debit card for the hold on the payment. The customer service rep offered little to no help. Not to mention I already prepaid online. They want it in utility bill with my name on it because I chose not to use my credit card and instead wanted to use my debit card. I could have just went to Enterprise and jumped through less hoops and got better results. I would advise anyone and everyone choose a better place just cuz the word budgets in it doesn't mean you're getting a good deal.

Worst service I have ever experienced. I reserved a cargo van several days in advance, got two confirmation emails. Arrived at my scheduled time (11 am) and then had to wait 40 minutes to be helped. Only one person was working and they seemed to not know exactly how to do the job. After waiting I was then told that my reservation had been MOVED to another location, 30 minutes away without ANY notification. The employee was not apologetic, didn't offer any alternatives or other compensation. Oh, and turns out the other location was closing in 15 minutes and it was a 30 minute drive away. Canceled my reservation and went down the street to UHaul.Wish I could give negative stars, and I'll never rent from Budget again.
