I take it animals there years and years always paid my bill at the time of service I rescue Farrell's and I missed one appointment with a couple of cats because I couldn't catch the ferals continued to take cats there had a cat that needed some help and tried to make an appointment and I was going to make over the next day because I didn't have a cage handy because it was with my rescue cats and the lady told me to put the cat in a pillowcase yeah a pillowcase didn't she proceed it to tell me after telling me to put my cat who's old and a pillowcase that I had six no shows I said that's not true I said can you show me a proof of that she goes I can't I don't have proof of that it just tells me that I said well I'm not going to have that burden on my back cuz that's not true anyway she said so if you don't show we are going to charge you anyway and I'm like are you that desperate for money that's ridiculous I had just taken a cat in a week prior and paid $106 to get medicine for a cat that died shortly after because they did not give the cat the shot that I felt they should have gave they should have given the kitten it's seriously needed an antibiotic shot which I had brought one in prior to that that got one and it did just fine it was younger and it needed a steroid shot instead they sent me home with antibiotics in the cat died days later tragically because it's starved to death and was dehydrated cuz it couldn't eat cuz didn't have the energy they need to have a little empathy for people who rescue I pay my bills so you can't get a cat in a cage one day and you considered a no-show You get threatened ridiculous I had been there several times since that incident with the no-show of the cat that I can recall but not six times that's ridiculous it was one situation with a couple of cats The point is is I didn't deserve to be threatened to him like that with a bill if I couldn't get a cat there or if something suddenly came up so I switched vets doesn't pay to be loyal to these people I've noticed in the last couple of years the empathy has gone down greatly there

Very good care, all through Annie's life. Cancer surgery gave her more years, and at the end they were very concerned and compassionate. Very good people.

Midwest is the best! Every employee there is friendly and professional, and the vets are all great with your furry family member. We've been taking our Lab there for almost 8 years, and our Golden Retriever for years before that, for both routine visits and urgent ones. We've NEVER been disappointed with them and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vet!

I like the staff but there are no financing options unless there's an emergency. So Callaway County Vet Clinic will be getting my business from now on until they get with the times, which they probably never will.
