I've rented several tools as well as excavating equipment from Giffords over the past years but have rented from them for the last time. Rented a concrete saw and had issues with it not wanting cut when the saw was put under a load. Because I attempted to get the job done and it got late into the evening I took it back the next day explaining problem. They had their mechanic check the saw out. I called later that day to find out what issue they found and was told the saw was out of gas. I asked if the mechanic had tried cutting with the saw and was told no and the clerk repeated the only thing they found was it had no gas in it. So after reluctantly considering to a drive to Farmington I rented it again. I kept the saw topped off with gas at several points while attempting to finish the job a second time but you guessed it, same issue. It took me almost 3 hours to cut a 10 foot strip of concrete. Took the saw back the next day, exclaimed to the guy behind the counter and he acted like he was not concerned. If you rent tools from Giffords you may be getting more than you bargain for. My suggestion would be to drive to Farmington.
