I had a traumatizing experience at Take 5 Express Oil Change Company. I will never support this business again in the future. This was at store # 1257, address of 12296 St. Charles Rock Rd, Bridgeton, MO 63044. I arrived at this Take 5 location on 10/16/2023 at approximately 5:00 pm. There were several cars in front of me. I man by the name of EMPLOYEE 1 came to my car, and I asked him how long it would take before my car could be serviced. Although they advertise a 10 minute oil change, I am more than willing to wait awhile at a busy time of the day. He became agitated and stated that each of the cars in front of me would be 15 minutes, and it would be at least an hour. I explained I did have a few things I could do while I was waiting, and I went to do a few errands. When I returned around 6:00 pm, I noticed there were only two cars in the 3 available bays. ,Employee 2, who I later learned was in training, approached my car to offer me another bottle of water. I told him I had already received a water, but asked how long the wait time would be now that I had returned. As he was about to speak with me, EMPLOYEE 1 yelled to me "you're wasting our time!" He then yelled at Employee 2 that he had already spoken with me, I know how it works, and I am just wasting the time that they could be using to work on other cars. Employee 2 then directed me into the 3rd bay. I asked Employee 2 if they had worked before on Fiat cars, as the air filter has to be removed from the top, rather than the bottom. He justt stated "we'll see, don't worry about it", and didn't answer my question. I realize he had only been there a few weeks and was in training, and he may not have the answer right away. I was prepared to wait an hour. The two men finished the car in the bay next to me, then proceeded to direct another vehicle into that bay. EMPLOYEE 1 told Employee 2 not to work on my car, but the other car in the bay next to me that they had just directed in. I said "Sir, I was here first". He said "no you weren't, they've been sitting outside waiting for the other car to leave", but that car was not there when I pulled in. I feel he was frustrated with me and my questions, and therefore wanted to purposely make me wait. I felt there was nothing I could do but sit and wait for them to finish the other car. EMPLOYEE 1 was still very agitated, and started talking to himself, and stated "these people that act like their entitled and just waste our time asking questions when they could be working on other cars". This was directed at me, as I had asked the questions regarding time and also about the air filter. At 7:30 pm, the oil had been removed, and he began trying to remove my air filter. At 7:50 pm, he still hadn't got it off of my car. I heard a lot of banging and my car was shaking, at that time I was not aware that he had dropped a tool and was trying to retrieve it. I thought he was still trying to get the air filter off from beneath the car. I again mentioned that the air filter needed to come off from the top. EMPLOYEE 1 then yelled that I was making Employee 2 nervous, he had only been there 3 weeks, and I had no right to question him, he was trying to retrieve a tool. EMPLOYEE 1 was still agitated, and started telling me that he has seven kids and he can't afford to lose his job, and he doesn't have time for people asking questions. He then told me to just get the hell out of his bay. I told him I had already paid and still didn't have oil back in my car, and I asked him to just put the filter back in and let me leave, as I was shaking I was so upset. By that time it was 8:25 pm, he supposedly put the filter back in my car, and he then slammed my hood. He then asked "how was your experience?" I told him I didn't want to say because it wouldn't be good. He then stated that he would give me his Christian name if I wanted it, I could go ahead and call corporate if I wanted, but he's the manager and so the complaint wa

First and last time using a take 5. Actually I won’t be ever returning again. The prices were falsely advertised then they never reset the oil gage. They offered me a water upon pulling up and that was by far the best part of the experience. Everything else they did was less than satisfactory. I didn’t get any of the services they claim are complimentary via signage all over the establishment. No tire check. No light checks. They didnt even have a code reader or so they said. Either way. More power to those who had a better experience. As for me I’d spend my money elsewhere.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement

They were very nice, offered us bottles of water. We were traveling out of state, so it was convenient. Cleaned our windows and checked all fluids and offered top off before mileage expires. Only complaint is no public bathrooms, you must stay in your car and they really push synthetic oils.Service: Oil change

I decided to give them an opportunity to redeem themselves but it was an epic fail!!!! If I could give them no stars that’s exactly a direct reflection of the lack of customer service skills they had. I had to wait while they talked to a customer for a substantial amount of time, who was blocking the way for anyone to pull in for service. Some time later a young man comes to greet me but no water, which is always the first thing they do when you pull up on the lot. Finally their was a second person that came and handed me a bottle of water. Then I was directed to pull in but the young person was very sharp and distracted why directing me to pull in. I didn’t care for the way he spoke to me so I let him know. He proceeded to argue his case for having to direct me in the way he did along with the other gentleman that was their. I was simply trying to educate him on the way in which he spoke to me, while having his face in his phone, was not good customer service. Words were exchanged which led to me leaving this particular establishment for the second and final time w/o getting an oil change. It’s very unfortunate that young people today don’t have a clue when it comes to business and think they’re attitude is okay and no one can tell their smart mouthed selves nothing because they think they know everything when in fact they Don’t know NOTHING!!!! This time NEVER TO RETURN!!!!!

Service was great and quick! Usually I'm waiting for about two hours whenever I take my vehicle to the shop just for an oil change. They gave me a bottle of water and they even changed my wipers for me. ?

9.15.23. I called. No answer. Left a vMNo call backDante was rude. Didn't honor what Jay the Mgr told me. Didn't want to put what I asked for, synthetic blend in my vehicle, which is what's required. Literally debated with Me regarding his wanting to put full blend when I asked for synthetic blend. I know my car, why was this even a discussion. It annoyed the hell out of me. If I didn't desperately need an oil change, I would have went elsewhere. I ended up requesting regular oil, because he refused my request for the synthetic blend. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

The young men that work here are so nice and very helpful! It's quick and they don't try to force you to buy extras. They explain why you need it and that's it. I keep going back, time after time!

Good service. Won't be back. They too damn high. Then they false advertise for 5 quartz price, knowing cars take 6 quarts now days. So they charge extra 9.99 per additional quart. Paid $100 for reg oil change.

At the N. Lindbergh location, I was greeted as soon as I pulled into the parking lot. I was in and out in 10 minutes, as advertised, but it wasn’t rushed. I was out and about with the dogs at the time, so not having to get out of my car was a bonus. This would’ve been very convenient back when I had to deal with kids, car seats, and chauffeuring my grandma to the run her errands. ?Services: Tires

They weren't able to help me due to another vendor having overly tightened the oil filter, but they were very nice and explained everything. Prices seemed reasonable as well. Hope to use them in the future.

My experience at take 5 was the most well concerned understood and professionally done experience that I have ever experienced any other oil place as a woman... They answered my questions they took time to listen to what I had to say and they all played a part in making me feel comfortable. I really appreciate good service they provided.. and I was the only one singing Patti LaBelle for them. Thank you so much TAKE 5 ?
