Bought a BMW from this location around a year or so ago. It was my first car buying experience ever so I was unfamiliar and nervous. Jill Schellhase who handles finances and appplications, me that I absolutely NEEDED to get extended car warranty on this BMW since it’s “exotic” and would be very expensive to fix if anything broke (she gets commission on these). I agree it would but what they failed to mention was the car was already under factory warranty still. I agreed to the Extended Car Warranty. Now when I try to cancel they will not allow me to. I have called around 20+ times and they always send me to voicemail after speaking with someone for 5 seconds. I wish I had purchased the car from a completely different company due to the issues I’ve been having trying to get in touch with anyone to cancel this insurance. STAY AWAY FROM HERE! You’re better buying from a dealership!

Pretty much concur with theprevious negative ratings. Used the ol bait and switch tactic on me. Set the appointment but suddenly the vehicle was sold within 24 hours? Don't you think they should they have called me? Find better alternative.

We bought a car from the Florissant, MO Hertz. We paid cash, but I was applying for the title we were told it still had the previous owners lien hold on it. I have now made three trips to the license bureau to fix this. First, Hertz sent us something that showed we paid cash for it, but it turns out that didn't work because the new title arrived in the mail with a lien still on it. I then called JP Morgan and after 15 minutes on the phone I was disconnected. Next I tried Hertz where I was put on hold twice and then forgotten. Next I spent another 15 minutes on the phone with JP Morgan and now they've said they will mail us a lien release. IF we receive this in the mail and then I get to go back to the license bureau for a 4th time, stand in line and then PAY for another title.

I went in the other day to test drive Infiniti QX80. After wasting my time asking me for contact information the alleged salesperson finally brings around the SUV. The car is filthy. I don't know if they parked it underneath a tree, the inside was just a nasty. These people are not sales people they just cashiers. No interest is selling anything. That's ok I went to another dealership and bought my QX80, I've attached the pictures to my review.

I had an amazing experience with Lou and Keith, they provided a better experience than I’ve ever had at any dealership and went above and beyond. I’ll definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a car!

DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF PURCHASING FROM HERE!!!!!!! These are people who do business with no integrity. Save yourself the debt. The loan company that will finance if you make $350 per week is Santander and Santander does not have a refinancing option for my 24% interest rate but if you want to use them please do it elsewhere. Part of the process is financing but the most important part is vehicle selection and the car I purchased wasn't fit for sale. My car had to go to the dealership to be repaired for a faulty wheel hub within the first 1 week of purchase, and with a warranty and service contract I still paid $200 out of pocket, and when I went for the inspection the tires were so bad the technician asked his colleague "how did this pass inspection?" to which he replied "wires have to be visible for it to fail." He told me to see if there was something the dealership could do and when I called they lied about calling me back. When I made the dealership aware of the issue I asked if me simply getting a different car was an option and after being told they would call me back I was ignored. This was all within week 1! They refused to give me a 60 day temp tag because they knew I had an out of state title and my inspection would expire in 30 days after the day I purchased, but instead of explaining that they told me they couldn't do it which was a lie. Also, my check engine light was on in less than 45 days because of a bad oil pressure sensor and there's no way they didn't know about it because it will temporarily go off if manipulated. Probably another reason they didn't extend me a 60 day temp tag. They knew it wouldn't pass all 3 inspections. The service contract has no use so that was 2500 wasted. There was no option to finance my tax, title and license fees. This is a nightmare with no end in sight. The worst part is now I am a caregiver for my Mom who has Alzheimer's, with an unreliable vehicle with a ridiculous interest rate and I can't even do Uber to make extra money anymore because I still don't have a tag and I need 3 inspections for my out of state title. It's going to cost me over 1000 to fix the oil pressure sensor. Disgraceful! Learn from my mistake and please shop elsewhere. They will sell you a faulty vehicle with a smile.

The car I bought from Hertz broke down after a week of using it and then they refused to take it back. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

This is the most horrible place, I have ever seen. This place will bankrupt soon because they don’t know or don’t want to work. It’s 10:30 am and it’s still close and then they work till 18:00 pmMy suggestion to owners of this place close and be happy., do not be bankrupted.

On Thursday I agreed to purchase a Ford Edge with 4 new tires and also looked under the hood. Was told car had a clean Car-fax. Friday came back with check not thinking I had to make sure everything was ok on the car. Went on vacation two weeks later 500 miles into trip, tire problems. Tire store showed us the tire in question and was wondering why three of the tires were new and the tire in question didn't have much tread on it. We were surprised and had to purchase a new tire $275. Came home from trip and our other car would not start and was going to jump that car. Opened the hood of the Ford to find no cover on the motor. Then took Ford to mechanic for oil change. He informed us that the car had been in an accident. What a surprise that was since I was told it had a clean Car-fax. It's past 7 day return policy, won't do a thing about any of the car's issues since purchase. MY OPINION, "don't buy a car from Hertz Car Sales in Florissant Mo". Basically told, sorry.

I purchased a 2019 Ford Taurus from this location on 4/29/22 and the whole process was horrible. The sales guy (Lou Blue - who was only on the job for two weeks) started off by bad talking everyone that worked there. Nothing but horrible words about the salespeople who were not there, Finance Manage (Josh) not having a clue about what he was doing. No one could process my application because Jill Schellhase was the only one familiar with the system and she had left early that day.The following day neither the sales guy or the finance manager could provide me with any information regarding the terms/interest rates/payment amount - they just said you are approved. I had to wait until the following day for Jill to arrive.I called the following day to speak with Jill but she was too busy to provide me with any information. So I had to leave work early just to go there to find out what was going on.I noticed air coming into the window as I was driving the car home and I called to notify Hertz. It's now two weeks later and I'm still without a car because Hertz refuses to pay the repair shop they told me to take the car to get the window fixed. Also, a couple days after buying the car I had to get it towed to the dealership because of drivability issues.I have had this car for less than two weeks and have driven it for maybe 4 days. I must a deposit of $8800 down and I'm without a car.Unprofessional, Rude, Unknowledgeable, Doesn't care anything about the customer once they receive that check.

Bought a car few months ago. 2019 Nissan Sentra. First, sales person just put on my old plates from the car that i traded in and were not transferred yet instead of giving me temporary tag Like he was supposed to. He told me that police is too busy around there and will not care. Needless to say , i went back there 2 days later demanding for my temp tag. Anyway, After driving it for couple of days, i felt that something is not right with this car. It was kinda pulling it as i was trying to go up the hill , and it was rattling and shaking while i was driving it. Decided to take it to Nissan dealership to do full diagnostics and bumper to bumper inspection. Made an appointment and had to wait more than a week to get in. After i took my car in there, i found out that it had bad transmission( it cost me 2000 to fix) , bent wheel( 400 dolars to replace) , and it had chunks missing out of one tire ( had to replace minimum 2 tires 200 a peace). Since hertz has only 7 day return policy, I couldn't return my car to them anymore after i told them about yransmition they were quick to tellme that my car came with waranty and transmission is included. What a bout the wheel and tires tho? I also declined them to take my car back there because i already lost trust in them. When they sold me that car, they had safety and emissions paperwork that showed as if it was just done So, they knew that car was not in a good condition yet still sold it , and lied on safety and emissions paperwork as if that car was in good condition which was not true. They are lying, cheating , and selling damaged goods. Anyway, it took 2 months for me to receive title for that car. So, i had to redo safety and emissions which i was charged for, and had to pay fine at DMV , since it took me longer than 30 days to pay sales tax. Hertz assured me that in couple of weeks they will reimburse me for that money that i had to spend on safety and fine. Needless to say, few months later, i still have not received not a dime back from them. I most definitely do not recommend buying a car from there. They vere also very rude and clearly dishonest . Never will i ever go back there again. What a naightmare! This by far was the worst experience buying a car in my entire life!
