Visiting stores at different times of the year, such as in the summer and winter. Although the staff have fans running, it has been far too hot for them to work in that facility without air conditioning this summer. Despite this, it is still evident that the employees are sweltering. They are likewise dressed in heat-retaining black shirts and I also do think they should wear anything color shirt being in that building.
I have witnessed workers using the heaters in the cold to stay warm. I feel terrible for the workers because they should be paid more because they are not compensated enough to deal with the attitudes of the customers.
Not to go too personal, but I have friends and relatives that work there, and they told me stories about Dollar General. I tried calling HR several times / more than that about how they treat their employees and how they would just terminate people without cause.
LIKE I SAID BEFORE THEY NEED TO GET PAID MORE THAN THEY ARE ALREADY MAKING NOW!!!!

Staff always friendly but often closed early mornings, when they are supposed to be open, and need to have store organized better.

They're literally always closed in the middle of the day. How do they keep the lights on and pay for bills?? So often it's a waste of time coming here.

A few aisle's were in disarray, but I can see their efforts and hard work getting the store back in order. The condition of the store was a lot better than my last visit.

Okay things you forget real shopping. Messy store. I also dont like shopping where the body wash is locked up . . . I am not a criminal. Kinda overkill.
